Overall, Romney's family tree contains six polygamous men with forty-one wives. Mitt Romney's family became wealthy when his family sued Mexico after using it as a safe haven to flee polygamy laws . Just Too Weird : Bishop Romney and now a High Priest of the highest echelon and is dedicated to the Mormon Takeover of America. He has been a Governor & now has run for President for a couple decades that's how bad he and his Mormon LDS church wants it. From a former insider of the Mormon church... (and cuttingedge.com).This “Kingdom of God” is believed by devout Mormons to be a theocratic kingdom run by the Prophet from Salt Lake City. They believe that ultimately they will head up a one-world benevolent dictatorship (or kingdom) run by the LDS Prophet. I gather you're bigoted against the Mormon religion. I'd much rather have someone of the Mormon faith than an islamist president that wears a ring that proclaims ":there is no god but allah" in arabic script. Sorry you took offense to Jan's post. I didn't find anything offensive about it except what the Mormon religion consist of. Facts I didn't know. She didn't say anything offensive about the religion or Romney. As the tea party has called Moslems and their religion. I would never vote for him because he's all about making profits for himself and for his supporters. You're missing the point. Jobs are outsourced to China because this country has a climate that isn't conducive to manufacture goods here. Also China is a currency manipulator. Many companies have come back though. A combination of QC issues (inferior and toxic products) and logistics (shipping costs) have brought this about. You want to talk about QC issues? Look at the history of the LPD shipbuilding program here in the U.S. Where before the program started was 800 million dollars over budget. The vessels were not seaworthy after construction due to defects. There is no competition in shipbuilding anymore here. And Romney wants to keep this wasteful process gone by building more ships by his friends the big Defense Contractors such as Northrop Grumman who shouldn't even be in the shipyard business but bought all of the shipbuilding facilities. Isn't that a monopoly? And he supposed to be for small business. George Steinbrenner had a contract to build a multi ship contract for the Navy and half way through the contract ran out of money. He went to Washington asking for money to finish even though it was against the contract and got more. He did this not once but twice. The ships are rusting away now in the James River never finished. Steinbrenner got out the shipbuilding business and bought the Yankees. Foreigners, convicts, and people who can't find work anywhere else are working in these shipyards these days. These yards cannot build a commercial ship anymore because commercial people are smart enough to go to Korea and get their ships built. Labrat, You said many companies are coming back and that is exactly what President Obama has said and his policies are doing. See another example of how we are moving forward, not backward to the same failed President Bush policies of " give more to those who dont need it and less to those who do". We gave President Bush 8 years and it turned into a recession and as an Independent voter I say the only fair and reasonable thing to do is to give President Obama 8 yrs. to get us out. Kennedy was able to look the press straight in the eye and tell them that if he were elected president, he would not be allowing the pope or his archbishop in Boston to dictate how he would run the country and we knew the Kennedys were a lousy Catholics to start with so we could believe it . Both he and his father Joseph Kennedy were notorious philanderers and adulterers... but Jack was charasmatic...people liked him./......I liked him. . But Romney takes his faith very, very seriously. Mitt is a high priest in the Church priesthood hierarchy That's scary....very very scary....especially for us who want to keep religion and state separate to preserve our democracy for everyone ...even freedom for women.
