That 2016 Obama movie was directed by Republican right wing neo. con. Dinesh D'Souza, who happened to be a Republican policy advisor under President Reagan and is full of total fabrication and lies. What about the white grand parents who helped raise President Obama. Why is it the right wing republicans focus on his black father from Kenya, who he only spent a few months of his life with. I know why because its a distraction and smokescreen to do political harm and it makes honest people sick to their stomachs. President Obama's grandfather on his mom's side was one of President Obama's biggest male influences in his life. That grandfather was a WWII hero in General Patton's Army. His grandmother worked her way up from bank teller to bank V.P. Those were the people who helped raise and nurture President Obama. Response to Re: When Mitt Romney Came to town.: In response to "When Mitt Romney Came to town.": Have you seen 2016 Obama's America? If you do you play the petty games you play. It's not rocket science buddy your President is destroying America from within. Radical Islam has nothing on Obama.

Yes, Mandn84, And that is causing the decay of our nation not just neighborhoods. Pensions will be lost when Mitt eliminates SSI and throws our citizens hard earned money to slot machine called Wall Street. When people are dying because Mitt eliminated Medicare. Mitt doesn't know what struggle means "except now that he has to face Obama in debates" he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and never wanted for nothing. Food, medicine, education, fun, vacation, business opportunity, all given to him. I sure would have taken that ball and run with it. In Response to Re: When Mitt Romney Came to town.: So its ok If Romney and other greedy CEO's walk away with hundreds of millions in " Special Dividends ", then hide their '" Profits " overseas, to avoid paying their fair share of taxes, while our workers are stripped of their jobs, pensions and healthcare that they paid into their whole lives. No its wrong and thats the greed that is killing this Nation. Romney and his types walked away with hundreds of millions of dollars and didn't think for a second to set aside any of those " special dividends" they hid overseas for the fired workers, who lost not only their jobs, but their pensions and healthcare. I'm sorry, but its greed at the highest level. The tax payers often times were left holding the bill, not Romney. With the Pension Guarantee Program the tax payers had to match part of those lost pensions and Romney walks away with hundreds of millions of dollars. Romney says he wants less government, but he was ok with the tax payers helping those fired workers with their lost pensions. Romney couldn't afford to give up any of his " Special Dividends " to assist those who lost their pensions, when he fired them and sent their jobs to Communist China. Can it get any more sickening and he wants to be our leader !!! How in the world can anyone defend that ? Imagine If it was you or a family member. What amazes is people who can't face the truth and call what our President says lies. And people who are arrogant enough to think they are equal to MItt Romney and the 1% and think they will never need any type of assistance may it be Govt. etc. One day you might, maybe not now. And don't tell me you are going to roll up your sleeves a go to work I know better. In Response to Re: When Mitt Romney Came to town.: What amazes is people buying into obama's lies. Do you want four more years of the same or worse??? obama has shown the course he wishes to take. Welfare payments of all sorts are on the rise. Immigrants are free to come into this country with no visable means of support and start collecting SSI and food stamps immediately. Posted by Labrat64 |

In Response to Re: When Mitt Romney Came to town.: They are angry because our country is in a situation that happens in cycles. It takes sacrifice from our citizens to recover from these down turns in the economy. And when I say sacrifice from our citizens, I mean all of our citizens. I think the middle class, poor, disabled, and elderly have sacrificed enough. Seems like the ones that are angry the most are the ones that benefited from resources of our great country the most. This is not the President's fault but a scape goat is needed for them to vent their hatred. Our President has done an outstanding job under the circumstances. It,s time for the privileged few to do theirs. In Response to Re: When Mitt Romney Came to town. : Posted by creppelrm On 60 minutes Romney was asked if he really believed it would benefit the economy if he and the richest people in the country continued to get their tax breaks and even more breaks in Ryan's budget. You know the answer Romney said without hesitation YES. There is no stipulation to where they spend these tax breaks----they can buy an apt in Paris, invest it into the stock market.....or just hoard it in the Caymen Islands, Swiss Banks or Bermuda like ROmney does. What a DEAL for those ballplayers---moviestars---already retired millionaire/billionaires who don't really hire help except for maybe a gardner & a housekeeper. I imagine they laugh at the stupidity of the voters that vote for them and believe its going to create jobs but instead it has only made the rich-even richer since the two Bush tax breaks came into effect around 2003. . |

creppelrm, we all could work till were 80 if we were a CEO like Mitt Romney, just drive up in your limo. fire some people, ride on your yacht, check your overseas investments and martini time brother. Too bad for you, If your job for 35 yrs was physical hard labor, just keep working until you drop dead. Who cares about the blue collar workers who made it all possible. Right wing Republicans say we just cant afford Social Security and Medicare for you. Yes, Mandm84, Romney has his nerve taking pictures with coal miners who are fortunate to be alive at 60 years old much less working in those death traps until they are 70. That just goes to show how out of touch he is with people. Exactly Jan, The 1% continue to feed hatred and discontent to the tea party and that fuel keeps the fires burning. In Response to When Mitt Romney Came to town.: Have you watched this video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLWnB9FGmWE Posted by wisemagic Yes, I've seen this video before and wonder how many people, in these circumstances who aren't informed, will still vote for Romney and Ryan. I've travelled from Chicago to DC a number of times in the last 5 years. What always amazes me are the towns in rural Indiana, Ohio and West Virginia where people are living near the poverty level have Republican and Tea Party signs displaying their preferences. These are people living in trailers, homes with canvas topping their roofs and factories and businesses closed down. Yet, they listen to the nonsense from Romney about his ability to "create" jobs and the Republican mantra about social issues. People in these small towns that depend on manufacturing and small businesses should think about what Romney would do if he could only close down these establishments that they depend on, move them to China and make big profits for himself. Ironically, many of these people are probably getting government assistance in some way, but they are voting against themselves.

Same thing here in Louisiana, Although if you don't have a job here in South Louisiana you don't want one. But a lot of jobs in shipyards are being filled by Hispanic immigrants because locals are not applying for that type of work. Roofing, carpenter work and other manual labor jobs are being filled by immigrants. The problem with shipyard work is when work is slow you get laid off, usually around Christmas. At one time it wasn't like that. Now days nothing is guaranteed. A lot of kids just live with their parents and work at the local hamburger establishment rather than trying to better themselves. We have a nation of untrained young adults who expect to make top pay when they are hired and companies who expect their workers to work for nothing and get laid off when they least expect it. And that's why the Hispanics are taking these jobs and the businesses who are crying for immigration laws are hiring them by the droves. At one time here in South Louisiana the only last names you would see anywhere were french. IN the last ten years are so, we see a lot of Spanish names.
