I have no plans to vote Democrat either. Really no difference between these two parties. I would never consider Romney, simply because he doesn't know where he stands on anything, from one day to the next. 6 individual agencies have analyzed his budget. All have found it doesn't add up, and/or increases to middle class taxes is the only way to make it work any where near the way he thinks it will. His healthcare "voucher" system is a sure increase in cost to us all. The Ryan plan means MAJOR changes to Medicare. It would eliminate the Medicare guarantee and turn it into a voucher program. Studies have shown the Ryan plan would cost anyone under 55 years of age an additional $6,000 a year with a slow increase to $12,000 extra out of pocket in later years, and it moves eligibility for seniors to get Medicare from 65 to 67. Of course, he hasn't got a plan to get 20 million people back to work, to rob them of the $6000. ".....because the Ryan plan will literally lead to people dying" http://tinyurl.com/95egjd9 Romney Logic: Increase the cost, delay giving the benefits. That way, some will die before the government has to give you back any of YOUR money you already paid to Medicare. Along with the Republicans plan to move the retirement age to 69, so many will die before ever getting any of the SSI money YOU paid in. But that's OK. Because while adding additional cost to health care, and working people till they die on the job, you get to pay the taxes for the rich, once Romney lets them off the hook. Ann Romney claimed during an ABC News interview Wednesday morning that "we've given all 'you people' need to know" about the Romney family finances, sparking a social backlash (and U.S. trending topic) on Twitter. Needless to say, using "you people" is pretty much never a good look -- at the very least, it comes across as patronizing and condescending. http://mashable.com/2012/07/19/ann-romney-you-people/ Ann Romney has a "I'm better than you" attitude. Romney.... NOT THE ANSWER. |

You are correct, people who vote for Romney are independently wealthy and don't need Medicare or Social Security or either full of enough hate for the people who do don't care even if they hurt themselves. They continue to believe that the Republicans will not cut the programs while they are on it. Just let them get in power and see what programs will be cut first. Without raising taxes on the 1% the Republicans will need to do some serious cutting to balance the budget and pay for Romney,s massive defense buildup. This is known and many in his own party disagree but are afraid of not being reelected because of their party financial support if anything is said. They will justify their actions by saying the people who elected them demanded the cuts. And they did. Their agenda for America has been set for a long time now and nothing has changed. Republicans like to say "Obama wants to RADICALLY change the United States." Let's examine who REALLY wants to RADICALLY change the United States.

They are angry because our country is in a situation that happens in cycles. It takes sacrifice from our citizens to recover from these down turns in the economy. And when I say sacrifice from our citizens, I mean all of our citizens. I think the middle class, poor, disabled, and elderly have sacrificed enough. Seems like the ones that are angry the most are the ones that benefited from resources of our great country the most. This is not the President's fault but a scape goat is needed for them to vent their hatred. Our President has done an outstanding job under the circumstances. It,s time for the privileged few to do theirs. Republicans like to say "Obama wants to RADICALLY change the United States." Let's examine who REALLY wants to RADICALLY change the United States. Social Security has allowed the elderly to retire with dignity since 1935. Medicare has provided health care for EVERYONE 65 and older since 1964. Women have had the right to choose to carry a pregnancy to tern OR NOT since 1973. Black people have had the right to vote since 1964. Republicans want to turn social security completely over to Wall Street. Republicans want to give total control of health care for EVERYONE to private insurance companies. Republicans want to overthrow Roe v. Wade. Republicans DURING THE PAST YEAR have passed laws to suppress voting for blacks, students and the elderly in EVERY state where they control the legislature. In response to "When Mitt Romney Came to town.": Have you watched this video? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLWnB9FGmWE Posted by wisemagic The video highlights a decaying town, Marrianna Florida. Like many the town was about to experience a revitilization over time and the reduced demand for Laundromats was eminent due to the reduced interest by communities to have Apartments in their town due to their high crime and drug association. Hence the reduced demand on the appliance being manufactured. Our future condition can be determined only by considering any changes that apply to our current condition. And these changes occur with the passage of time. So marginalizing markets in changing times in most cases as they will have an adverse effect on many citizens they will ultimately have a very positive effect on their peers. One may argue the security the employees had and human nature will dictate they are grasping on to the general assumption the company which has employed them for many years will be there for all the generation of their family members and never ever go away is ludicrous. It's human nature to avoid change. But change is good! Healthy in most cases. The seasons change, children change, your Presindent even ran on change. So if Bain Capitol rescued a future failing company and employees lost their jobs the fact that their jobs were in jeopardy anyway. So don't blaim Bain. They should look at the potential for obsolescence in their company's business model. |

This country is what you, I and everyone else made it. If there are drug problems the usual suspects are blacks, Hispanics, and other minorities in crumbling neighborhoods. You don't suspect that nice people in the rich part of town taking drugs but they do. They are the ones undermining society. Drugs cost money and guess who has it? You don't suspect lawyers, doctors, judges, and politicians taking drugs, but they do and some are even in the drug trade. You look at these neighborhoods that are crumbling and don't realize they were once nice neighborhoods. It was the good who turned them bad. What you don't realize is what we are doing to our children. They don't want to work hard anymore they want to sit in front of a computer, play video games and text. They don't want to do carpenter work anymore, they don't want to put roof on houses, And all of this is happening your neighborhood. There is a drug problem in your nice neighborhood and you don't realize it. It's not what OUR President is doing wrong, it's what we are doing that is wrong. We warned Mexico a while back about the drugs coming in from their country to ours and Mexico told us "we don't have a drug problem you do." Instead of getting involved you complain. As far is Bain is concerned, bad business practise helps no one. So its ok If Romney and other greedy CEO's walk away with hundreds of millions in " Special Dividends ", then hide their '" Profits " overseas, to avoid paying their fair share of taxes, while our workers are stripped of their jobs, pensions and healthcare that they paid into their whole lives. No its wrong and thats the greed that is killing this Nation. Romney and his types walked away with hundreds of millions of dollars and didn't think for a second to set aside any of those " special dividends" they hid overseas for the fired workers, who lost not only their jobs, but their pensions and healthcare. I'm sorry, but its greed at the highest level. The tax payers often times were left holding the bill, not Romney. With the Pension Guarantee Program the tax payers had to match part of those lost pensions and Romney walks away with hundreds of millions of dollars. Romney says he wants less government, but he was ok with the tax payers helping those fired workers with their lost pensions. Romney couldn't afford to give up any of his " Special Dividends " to assist those who lost their pensions, when he fired them and sent their jobs to Communist China. Can it get any more sickening and he wants to be our leader !!! How in the world can anyone defend that ? Imagine If it was you or a family member.
