I'm just passing this along cause perhaps there are other's here with the same situation. You must feel this would be of interest or you wouldn't have posted it.....so if it's not much bother....why don't you give us your own rendition...so we can comment. |

It points out what obama has done to our country and those that he's chosen to help such as AG Holder, Surgeon General Benjamin, David Axelrod, Tim Geithner, RevWright. It pretty much shows the train wreck that the Obama administration is. BTW, I'm currently reading a bokk by Ed Klein, called "The Amateur" which characterizes Obama. It's fascinating reading. The title the amateur comes from what Bill Clinton called him. We have a choice in November: Do we choose a President that will restore our American values and will bring some fiscal sanity to government much the way states such as Wisconsin are doing or do we re-elect a Socialist whose goal is transforming this Great Nation into a European style socialist state silmilar to Greece. I don't "hate" obama. I just think he's in way over his head. Many Democrats including Bill Clinton agree. Clinton has called him an amateur. Response to Re: Merchants of Despair: You apparently have a hatred for President Obama and hatred always distorts a man's vision. How good does Mr. Romney look? Mr. Romney is Pro War. Mr. Romney stated in 2007 that invading Iraq was the right thing to do, even after finding NO WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION. Oh yes, we lost all those lives and trillions of dollars to find Saddam Hussein in a fox hole with a pistol and $200,000 cash. Mr. Romney STILL believed it was the right thing to do ! Of course alot of corporations, like Halliburton, did very well during the Iraq War. Mr. Romney also supported the Vietnam War, but conveniently recieved 4 deferrments from the draft to go to France with his Mormon church to, believe it or not, protest in favor of the Vietnam War, as long as he did'nt have to fight in it. Then we have Mr. Romney's company "Bain Capital". Mr. Romney would overtake struggling U.S. companies and right off the bat pay himself and his top investors " SPECIAL DIVIDENDS " Then he would begin the layoffs and workers would lose their pensions and healthcare. Mr. Romney did create some jobs mainly in Mexico and South East Asia. Apparently Bain Capital's bottom line was much better when they hired workers overseas as opposed to keeping Americans working. What did Mr. Romney do with his special dividends? He used loopholes to hide his profits overseas in Switzerland, Ireland and the Cayman Islands to avoid the already reduced Bush tax rates. Romney also supports the controversial Ryan Republican budget , which cut $205 billion from seniors healthcare and gives the wealthy bigger tax breaks than Bush did. Mr. Romney's record shows that he will treat most of us like Bain Capital does, He will take care of his investors ( top 1% ) and hang the rest of us out to dry. Mr Romney will sell Medicare and Social Security to which ever corporation donates the most. It will be like George W. Bush all over again, only with MORE corporate billionaires calling the shots. n Response to Re: Merchants of Despair : It Posted by mandm84 |

I'm sure Mr. Romney is a nice person, but does he set the right example for the leader of our economy ? Romney also supports the controversial Ryan Republican budget , which cuts $205 billion from seniors healthcare and gives the wealthy bigger tax breaks than Bush did. Mr. Romney's record shows that he will treat most of us like Bain Capital does, He will take care of his investors ( top 1% ) and hang the rest of us out to dry. Mr Romney will sell Medicare and Social Security to which ever corporation donates and lobbies the most $$$.. It will be like George W. Bush all over again, only with MORE corporate billionaires calling the shots. If you're in the top 1%, maybe you dont care about the lower class , middle class, disabled or our beloved seniors, but I do. I think I know who I'm voting for and it's President Obama, who is trying to pass programs to help all Americans, not just the top 1% er's. President Obama sees real life struggles of real life Americans ! Call it like it is, the Republican Controlled Congress has stopped almost every bill the Democrats have tried to pass. Then Mr. Romney and the Republicans say President Obama has'nt done anything. Its not that the President's or Democrat's ideas wont work, its because they dont want it to work under President Obama's watch.. The Republican Congress has filibustered more of President Obama's bills in his 3 1/2 years in office than all of the Presidents in the past two decades combined. So you can keep listening to the Right Wing Hate Propaganda, such as Fox News , Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh or pay attention to the facts. Remember my friend Hatred can blind a man ! |
