As a rule, I try not to pay attention  to Rush Limbaugh and his  dirt.    Married 4 times --no children---just a red-neck illiterate radio jock that keeps a fan base because of hate talk.       . But when he attacked Sandra Fluke -- a Georgetown law student ...a fine young woman who just wanted to testify to the importance of contraception as a piece of her health care -- he crossed a line.
He called her a “slut.”  He called her a “prostitute.” He said that if she wanted her contraception covered, she should post pornographic videos of herself online. He went too far.
Rush really showed how Republicans across the country are gearing up for an all-out assault on women. Especially women who dare to stand up against their misogyny and their radical agenda.
Rush isn’t just a radio host.      He’s a ring leader of the GOP, the man from whom Republicans take their cues when it comes to issues like this.    You can draw a line straight from Rush’s offensive comments to the agenda being pushed by Republicans in Washington, D.C.

Actually, Limbaugh didn't say anything new about his dis-dain for women, as he's always been motivated to attack any women daring to speakout on most any subject.. Remember his venomus attacks on Michelle Obama and her daughters, or Christal Ball, journalist at Time, or the head of NOW, etc.

This is just a common theme from the Republican right. What did Romney and Santorum say. They would have used different words against the young women, but wouldn't say what words they would have attacked her with. In fact, Santorum agrees with Limbaugh's latest attack on single mom's that they should have been forced on contraception, because they are just raising future criminals!

Might add that Limbaugh is not the only embarrassment from Missouri, we also have another women hater in the form of Ol Roy Blunt, proud representative of any special interest willing to pay him for his services. He is another who dumped his first wife and wed his lobbiest girl-friend because she had more special interest connections.

Look at the Blunt anti-women bill where he proposes that ANY boss can use his moral value argument to deny ANY insurance coverage for contraception, cancer screening, diabetis screening, std screenings, prenatal care, mental health coverage, etc! What's ironic is that here in Republican Missouri, most of the red-neck bubbas see nothing wrong with having their bosses in the bed-room with them and their spouses, which is why Ol Blunt keeps getting reelected!

Actually, I'm a conservative and Mr. Limbaugh has never spoken my views on most subject.  He's a personality that talks for a living, just like Bill Mayer.

I have many radical conservative ideas like I think every person should be paid a just salary and let them do the rest -  in paying all their taxes, unemployment insurance, ihealth insurance, retirement - the worse thing this country ever did was to place all these requirements, by legislation or by the choice of the employer, onto the backs of the employers.  By all of this being under the employer, we have dumbed down the populace of this country.

When someone else is paying - they put the rules in play.  To forcibly change these rules causes a lot of strife between all of us.

Mr. Limbaugh is a COWARD.  I think that is all I have to say about that.

I also had hunting dogs when I used to hunt.  Which I don't anymore.  I loved my dogs, I fed them, petted them, took care of them when they were hurt or sick and in return I got unconditional loyalty.  It's a shame when people can get unconditional loyalty from the people they employ by taking better care of them but fail to realize what they missed out on.  Some dogs are taken better care of then people.

NO Limbaugh has SPONSORS, and Rush is no intellectual and only got famous on character assassinations saying the things that no normal decent human being would say.     That combined with a finely honed ability to twist and distort reality he is taken seriously by some republicans  in congress and people like Clarence Thomas.    I   believe you refer to  Bill Maher who  has no sponsors....he's a political satirist & comedian on HBO  ENTIRELY different.   .
What are you talking about .. ....  the  republicans don't even  want the minimum wage....you heard them..... Sarah Palin---Bachmann---Ron Paul.... NAME anyone of them.....and in fact the republicans who run  FLORIDA want to cut restaurant workers minimums back to $2 an hour ...back to the 1950's.    The republicans don't want UNIONS that give a voice to workers.    We only have a 40 hr workweek and benefits because UNIONS started it.
I am appalled when some good--people don't know the true facts and I blame that on the MEDIA today and your post brings that to a terrible reality.
