You probably don’t give a great deal of thought to Gary Johnson, the Libertarian Party presidential candidate. Maybe you should. Mitt Romney certainly is. http://tinyurl.com/9l93k7g Poll after poll show growing numbers of Americans are socially liberal and fiscally conservative. “I don’t think either major party embraces those values,” says Johnson. “I’m running in the same political category as most people in this country.” Johnson was governor from 1995 to 2003. Though the state of New Mexico is overwhelmingly Democratic, Johnson won a solid victory with his platform of cutting taxes and reining in spending. And in spite of facing a legislature that was two-thirds Democratic, he delivered, vetoing 750 bills and thousands of line-item expenditures. He easily won re-election, and cut taxes 14 times during his 8 years in office. When he left office the state had a $1 billion budget surplus. • He’s the only candidate who will be on the ballot in all 50 states and Washington who shows no interest in bombing Iran. • He’s the only candidate who wants to bring the troops home -- now. • He’s the only candidate that wants to abolish incom tax. No more IRS. • He’s the only candidate that wants to repeal the Patriot Act and the National Defense Authorization Act. • He’s wants to repeal the Affordable Care Act. • He’s the only candidate willing to say out loud what they all know, that the war on drugs is a useless waste of money. • And he’s the only candidate promising to cut the federal budget — not just slow its growth — in his first year in office. http://www.garyjohnson2012.com
You can vote Democrat or Republican. You lose either way. These 2 Parties are virtually the same. Romney and Obama are actually in total agreement on 23 issues. ( But you know, Mitt has a way of changing his mind when he needs to. ) Or, You can vote for Gary Johnson. |

In Response to Re: Libertarian Gary Johnson: Gary Johnson is definitely much better than our top 2 boys who are paid by the same people but keep streesing their differeces (are there any SIGNIFICANT?) and many Americans go for it... i believe people (most anyway) have already decided for whom they will vote and nothing will change that. But i believe in INFORMATION, meaning people deserve to be informed about what's going on in their country. Writing about Ron Paul or Gary Johnson we are doing a media's work! Posted by Astra2012 "Writing about Ron Paul or Gary Johnson we are doing a media's work!" That's true. The media is bought and paid for by the big two parties. Gary is trying to continue with what Ron Paul has started. Together, they would make an excellent team. With the media being controlled, the debates.... run by the big two, the Patriot Act, NDAA, and the Republican Party & Democrat Party being nearly one in the same.... almost like a dictatorship. |

Posted by wisemagic Although i support Ron Paul and will write him in (here in PA it counts, and I'm afraid special interests already selected "our" president --and the whole election is just a farce) Gary Johnson would be a better president for Americans than Romney or Obama - unfortunately (many) Americans believe corporations speaking to them through tv and don't think about their rights (Patriot Act, NDAA) or even their money (overseas military bases, wars, drones, TSA).or hidden tax==things getting more expensive because of dollar overprinting. Then they protest country's direction... |
