I've beeb advised that effective 1/1/13 there is a provision buried in the Health Care Bill that will effectively deny health care to anyone 75 or older. This provision is supposedly very broad

I've beeb advised that effective 1/1/13 there is a provision buried in the Health Care Bill that will effectively deny health care to anyone 75 or older. This provision is supposedly very broad and covers everthing from routine preventive care (flu shots, mammograms, etc.) to elective surgery (knee replacement, cartoid artery blockage, etc.)

I've heard nothing about this from AARP nor have I seen anyhign in the media. Since this is an election year,I'm aware of the various false rumors that are circulating as "fact."

Could someone please take a look at the text of the Health Care Act and advise if the above information is correct or not. After all, the Act does contain a provision for imposing a 3% sales tax on the sale of a home effective 1/1/13. What this provision has to do with universal health care coverage is beyond my comprehension.

Thank you.,

I am interested in an answer to your question. You would think others would jump on this and give you an answer.
