Maybe I wasn't paying quite enough attention, but Christie didn't come across to me at all as "an engaging speaker."

I do, though, think that in 2016 he really ought to run for president . . . of the Teamsters Union.

Ha! I agree.... Christie's a bully who talks big and loud, but cannot speak to the fact that unemployment has risen in NJ, taxes have gone up and businesses are leaving in droves.

Christie is all about Christie... by the time 2016 comes around, he will be as irrelevant as Sarah Palin.

Christie is unfit to be president. In an interview earlier this year, he said of his own obesity: "If it were easy, I'd already have it fixed.”

So what makes him think he could do any better with the not-so-"easy" problems facing the nation?

That man from Nevada said it great! (6 states would be more than enough for Ron Paul to be on the ballot-so Romney's lawyers worked with  RNC and few days ago (!) the rule was changed to 8 states... (Romney has to be more than assured of the win. And he uses others for his dirty tricks (lawyers now, classmates when he was bullying that poor guy. Such a pathetic COWARD)

ONLY votes for Romney were called from the floor.

According to the Washington Post, one of Paul Ryan's speechwriters crafted Sarah Palin's 2008 convention speech. But Palin apparently ad libbed perhaps the best-known line from her speech: "You know the difference between a hockey mom and a pitbull? Lipstick!"

Will Ryan be quick on his feet?

He's making the decisions that have to be made. He doesn't use pollsters to decide what he has to do to get re-elected.

I think that the reps. will not mention the voucher idea now or ever until the election is over.  It is a win-win for the insurance companies not for seniors.  Can you see someone who is 80 years old trying to call all the insurance companies to find the best deal to use her $3,000 voucher?  Many more people will go without health care and die earlier because of it.

Yeah, right, and I'll deposit $3.1 million into your account if you wire me the $50,000 in legal fees I need to process the foreign-exchange transaction:

"Tuesday’s victory for New Jersey Governor-Elect Chris Christie was never in doubt according to Christie’s pollster Adam Geller. Despite some last minute Republican skittishness over public polls showing a late surge in favor of the Democratic incumbent, Geller says the campaign’s internal polls had the Republican winning even in the best-case turnout scenario for Democrats.

"'I said all along that even if Corzine’s turnout was what Democrats were hoping for, Chris still wins by a point,' Geller tells Politics. 'And if turnout ended up being what I was predicting all along, we would win by 4 or 5, and that’s exactly what happened' . . ."

Look all Medicare recipients we must stop the GOP with this method of trying to replace our Medicare with a voucher program. This is nothing but a trick to do away with Medicare. These GOP has been voting on doing away with Medicare since 2004 go and look up the bills since Paul Ryan was the Chief of Budget under the George Walker Bush Jr. administration. They pretend this is breaking the budget for the US but this is only to decrease the budget to provide rich, companies and corporation with permanent tax cuts. Then both Mitt  Romney and Ryan Paul will do away with Medicare.

I am a disable nurse and I know many insurance companies will not insure people with pre-existing medical conditions. I am on a Medical advantage programs and this is no good. Every time I have medical bills I have to appeal these bills but I am a Registrar Nurse and knows how to write these medical appeals but many elderly has no one to write these medical appeals which they will end up paying alot of out pocket for medical expense. Please read and spread the word as it is now Medicare is safe. Paul Ryan has been trying to change Medicare since 2004. I do not believe his mom is on Medicare. I bet she has private insurance.See when any one lives over 67 which they want to increase the age for retirement many people already has serious health issues which many insuranc3e companies will deny you for like, Cancer, Heart Disease, Renal or Kidney conditions, Asthma, Chronic Pulmonary Diseases, Diabetes, Hypertension, Blood Disorder and many more. How many of you have already been denied just for being over weight. See many people who are in a comatose state, has Dementia, or mental illness will not be able to make a choice and we as recipients must stand with them.

If you notice both John McCain and Ex secretary of State talk about wars and this is how they will pay for these wars.
