Romney sucks less then Obama ??? I respectfully disagree. Response to Re: Election 2012 Debate Season: In Response to Re: Election 2012 Debate Season : 1st, Romneys medicare plan will double our cost. 2nd, so far nobody can get his tax plan to work without a tax increase on.... guess who.... the working class. Romney Plans 15 Navy Ships Built Yearly in First Term, Aide Says http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-10-11/romney-plans-15-navy-ships-built-yearly-in-first-term-aide-says.html Who in the hell is paying 53.3 billion for new ships? And why the hell do we need 15 new ships to fight land locked middle east countries? Why the hell do we need to fight anyone? This is the Conservative Party? Is this guys name Romney or Hitler? What the hell is up with the "no, we are not leaving Afghanistan", and now a severe military build up? I'll bet anyone... anyone, Mitt has investments in the companies building these ships. The military isn't asking for these ships. Why is Mitt spending all this money, and guess where it's coming from.... working man. The Ryan plan means MAJOR changes to Medicare. It would eliminate the Medicare guarantee and turn it into a voucher program. Studies have shown the Ryan plan would cost anyone under 55 years of age an additional $6,000 a year with a slow increase to $12,000 extra out of pocket in later years, and it moves eligibility for seniors to get Medicare from 65 to 67. Of course, he hasn't got a plan to get 20 million people back to work, to rob them of the $6000. ".....because the Ryan plan will literally lead to people dying" http://tinyurl.com/95egjd9 There is the Romney/Ryan logic.... increase the cost, delay giving the benefits. That way, some will die before the government has to give you back any of YOUR money you already paid to Medicare. Along with the Republicrats plan to move the retirement age to 69, so many will die before ever getting any of the SSI money YOU paid in. But that's OK. Because while adding additional cost to health care, and working people till they die on the job, you get to pay the taxes for the rich, once Romney lets them off the hook. You can forget government "creating jobs". A stong economy creats jobs. Fact is, wall street does better under Democrats, than republicans. Mitt Romney leads a party packed with paranoids and fabulists. http://tinyurl.com/9ghfoaq Stock Market Has Performed Much Better Under Democrats Than Republicans Since 1929 http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/15/democratic-presidents-stock-market_n_1967522.html It basically boils down a campaign slogan that says: “Mitt Romney: He sucks a little less than the other guy.” ( But not much less ) Posted by wisemagic |

In Response to Re: Election 2012 Debate Season: Romney sucks less then Obama ??? I respectfully disagree. Response to Re: Election 2012 Debate Season : Posted by mandm84 The point I'm trying to make is that the Republican candidate has nothing of substance to run on. And in saying that, the Republican slogan should be “Mitt Romney: He sucks a little less than the other guy.” ( But not much less ) because that's all they have that is anywhere close to a slogan. As far as I'm concerened, it should read “Mitt Romney: Quick, Hide your wallet!” |

In Response to Re: Election 2012 Debate Season: He is antichristian; Acts of preferentialism for Islam: May 2009 – While Obama does not host any National Day of Prayer event at the White House, he does host White House Iftar dinners in honor of Ramadan. April 2010 – Christian leader Franklin Graham is disinvited from the Pentagon’s National Day of Prayer Event because of complaints from the Muslim community. April 2010 – The Obama administration requires rewriting of government documents and a change in administration vocabulary to remove terms that are deemed offensive to Muslims, including jihad, jihadists, terrorists, radical Islamic, etc. August 2010 – Obama speaks with great praise of Islam and condescendingly of Christianity. August 2010 – Obama went to great lengths to speak out on multiple occasions on behalf of building an Islamic mosque at Ground Zero, while at the same time he was silent about a Christian church being denied permission to rebuild at that location. 2010 – While every White House traditionally issues hundreds of official proclamations and statements on numerous occasions, this White House avoids traditional Biblical holidays and events but regularly recognizes major Muslim holidays, as evidenced by its 2010 statements on Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha. October 2011 – Obama’s Muslim advisers block Middle Eastern Christians’ access to the White House. February 2012 – The Obama administration makes effulgent apologies for Korans being burned by the U. S. military, 51 but when Bibles were burned by the military, numerous reasons were offered why it was the right thing to do. Acts of hostility toward people of Biblical faith: April 2008 – Obama speaks disrespectfully of Christians, saying they “cling to guns or religion” and have an “antipathy to people who aren’t like them.” February 2009 – Obama announces plans to revoke conscience protection for health workers who refuse to participate in medical activities that go against their beliefs, and fully implements the plan in February 2011. April 2009 – When speaking at Georgetown University, Obama orders that a monogram symbolizing Jesus’ name be covered when he is making his speech. May 2009 – Obama declines to host services for the National Prayer Day (a day established by federal law) at the White House. April 2009 – In a deliberate act of disrespect, Obama nominated three pro-abortion ambassadors to the Vatican; of course, the pro-life Vatican rejected all three. October 19, 2010 – Obama begins deliberately omitting the phrase about “the Creator” when quoting the Declaration of Independence – an omission he has made on no less than seven occasions. November 2010 – Obama misquotes the National Motto, saying it is “E pluribus unum” rather than “In God We Trust” as established by federal law. January 2011 – After a federal law was passed to transfer a WWI Memorial in the Mojave Desert to private ownership, the U. S. Supreme Court ruled that the cross in the memorial could continue to stand, but the Obama administration refused to allow the land to be transferred as required by law, and refused to allow the cross to be re-erected as ordered by the Court. February 2011 – Although he filled posts in the State Department, for more than two years Obama did not fill the post of religious freedom ambassador, an official that works against religious persecution across the world; he filled it only after heavy pressure from the public and from Congress. April 2011 – For the first time in American history, Obama urges passage of a non-discrimination law that does not contain hiring protections for religious groups, forcing religious organizations to hire according to federal mandates without regard to the dictates of their own faith, thus eliminating conscience protection in hiring. August 2011 – The Obama administration releases its new health care rules that override religious conscience protections for medical workers in the areas of abortion and contraception Posted by neworleans3999 Why don't you do us all a big favor, stop quoting Rush Limbaugh, and come up with something that Romney is for that will help this country. Posting the same stuff all over the forums, isn't building your case for Romney at all. Especially when I've heard most of it from the Republican Minister of Propaganda, Rush Limbaugh. This is what Republicans seem to want to say, get Obama out. Never having anything to debate on why we should let Romney in, to destroy the country even more. |

In Response to Re: Election 2012 Debate Season: In Response to Re: Election 2012 Debate Season : I totally agree. As an AARP member, I do not support ObamaCare. It is complete intrusion into private health care decisions. The government has way overreached their influence. ObamaCare will cause hopitals to close and insurance rates to increase. Do not let this president continue government's assalt on our liberties. Posted by jbtsjjacob5 Arer you willing to forget Obamacare, and pay double for what you have? |

In Response to Re: Election 2012 Debate Season: So my husband & I are part of the 47% according to Romney?? We are 77 & 67, my husband pay Federal taxes on his pension, we both pay Federal taxes on our Social Security, I still work part-time, commissioned, so I pay Federal taxes on my income, a small commercial building rental gives us income that we pay Federal taxes on. Is this the free ride we're taking after a long life of work? How does he figure it? Posted by ncroft If Romney privatizes SSI, and puts it on the stock market, and the market takes a bad lick.... so does you payment that month. There will be no guaranteed minimum payment. Stock market goes up, payment goes up, stock market goes down, payment goes down. You are paying taxes, federal income tax? Listen to what Romney says, then research it. A 20% cut across the board. Wont work. The rich only pay about 15%. This puts the rich off of paying anything. The poor.... don't have any money. Working people will make up the difference. He says he will close loopholes and remove deductions. He also won't say which ones on either. So figure you will have little to no deductions at tax time. When you do your 1040, get a check ready. When Romney lets the rich off the hook, the treasury will no longer be receiving 30 to 120 billion a year from the taxes of the rich. Do you really believe the government is going to let that much money evaporate? Have you ever heard of the government cutting taxes on one end, without raising them on the other? Romney's fairy tale of 20% cut doesn't work. Six analyst have gone over this budget. A tax increase is the only way to make it happen. Romney never explains HOW it is going to work. Ryan says, "the math is too complicated to explain". They are blowing smoke. Along with this fairy tale tax cut, he wants to give 2 TRILLION to the military. The military isn't asking for anything. 53.3 Billion on new Navy ships in his first year. Where do you think 2 Trillion is going to come from? This is the conservative party? The U.S. spends more on our defense than the next 26 countries behind us, put together. 25 of them are our allies. We are supposed to be the super power of the world. Afghanistan isn't having much of a problem holding us off, are they? 10+ years, and all we have done is take out a few "terrorist leaders", blow up a few cities, and then give them food and supplies to rebuild. Eisenhower has got to be rolling over in his grave. I promise you one thing, you let Romney/Ryan in the office, and it will come out of your pocket. |

In Response to Re: Election 2012 Debate Season: Romney sucks less then Obama ??? I respectfully disagree. Response to Re: Election 2012 Debate Season : Posted by mandm84 I Agree, Mitt Romney Lost The Debate (Romney/Ryan Motto & The GOP: If You Can't Impress Them With Brilliance, Baffle Them With BS) By Being On The Offensive All Night But Never Answering What He Would Replace The Healthcare (Obama Care), His Answer: When I'm Elected We Will Figure It Out And While He's Figuring It Out 23 Million People Go Without Health Care. How You Would Lower The Deficit Answer: Keep In Place The Bush Tax Cuts For The Rich And Add 2 Trillion Dollars To Defense, How Would He pay For The 7 Trillion Dollar 9 (which he now denies flip flop) Addition To The Deficit; Oh I Don't Know Ah Remove Unnecessary Programs (education, Medicaid, Medicare (add a voucher system), Remove The Dodd-Frank Law Removing The Regulations From Wall Street And The Rich Financial Institutions Would Run Wild And A Lot Of Innocent People With Their Money In Retirement Funds Would Be At Risk Of Being Taken Down The Same Road That Got Us Here In The First Place. The President Was More Aggressive And Asked Mr Romney About The 47% Comment That He Made (the genuine Mitt Romney), Ryan Made The Same Or Similar Comment A Few Days After Saying The 47% Would Have To Work And Pay Taxes. I Believe The 47% Romney Was Referring To Were The Retired, Disabled, Veterans, The Under Employed, And The People Who Through No Fault Of Their Own Are Unemployed. The President Explained The Tax Reform He Would Take: Keep The Cuts For The Middle Class The Same And Remove The Tax Cuts For The Very Rich By Rolling The Taxes To The Clinton Years When We Had A Surplus, Remove The Tax Breaks For Oil, Company's That Out Source Out Of Our Country And Giving Tax Incentives To Company's Keep There Employment Here In The USA. Keep Obama Care Which Forces Insurance Company's To Compete Causing Rates To Stop Rising, Keeping 23 Million Americans Insured Allowing Them Peace Of Mind For Their Families. I Am Supporting President Obama Because He Seems To Be The Only One With Answers To Our Problems And Not Elect Us (Romney/Ryan) And We Will Figure It Out Later. :0) |
