Who is starting class warfare ??? In that 47% group are our beloved struggling seniors, disabled and veterans, who paid their dues during their working and healthy years and now must rely on Social Security and Medicare that they paid for so they could survive with dignity. Gail, we all cant be smart enough to create a lucrative business like your husband's Its called Compassion in a civilized society. Response to Re: Election 2012 Debate Season: In Response to Re: Election 2012 Debate Season : Sounds like you pay taxes - so I guess you're in the 53% category !

And the Romney Ryan plan is better, for who ???, Give More To Those Who Dont Need It and Less To Those Who Do. No let the profits come first insurance companies decide if and or what type of care I will be allowed to have. If your voucher wont pay for your operation, then just go without or file bankrupcy. Since when will a private insurance company CEO care more about our health, than his profits??? I trust President Obama much more than any Private Healthcare CEO. I can just hear a disabled senior fighting for their life on the phone regarding the voucher not covering their needed surgery with some insurance company representative from India. No thank you I'll trust Obamacare. Response to Re: Election 2012 Debate Season: In Response to Re: Election 2012 Debate Season : I totally agree. As an AARP member, I do not support ObamaCare. It is complete intrusion into private health care decisions. The government has way overreached their influence. ObamaCare will cause hopitals to close and insurance rates to increase. Do not let this president continue government's assalt on our liberties. Posted by jbtsjjacob5 |

Two previews of presidential debate #2: In Second Presidential Debate, Style Is Likely To Trump Facts Those who have followed the campaign even somewhat closely learned little from the first two debates that they didn't know already. Obama wants to raise taxes on the wealthiest Americans, protect his sweeping healthcare bill passed in 2010 and says his policies — including bailing out the auto industry — have produced a steady, if frustratingly slow, economic recovery. Romney opposes the tax hikes for the wealthy, wants to repeal "Obamacare," as he calls it, and says the president squandered billions of taxpayers' dollars on programs that did nothing to help the economy while exploding the national debt. — Los Angeles Times First 2 Debates Reveal 2 Campaigns, Stripped To Core Arguments On Tuesday night, President Obama and Mitt Romney will take the stage again, in a town-hall style debate at Hofstra University in New York. This meeting may have a different tone from their first — Obama, in particular, is under pressure to be more aggressive. But both candidates seem likely to return to the same basic sales pitch. … Romney and his running mate, Rep. Paul Ryan (Wis.), have focused largely on their policy agenda, which was dominated by things they wanted to roll back — the health-care law, the Dodd-Frank financial regulations, income-tax rates. The Democrats tend to cast the election less as a choice between ideas and more as a choice between people. — Washington Post |

Wow I didn't know Rush Limbaugh was here. You've got some real propaganda going here, my friend, where did you find these falsehoods ? Let me guess, on a Fox News report, where its fair and balanced.Response to Re: Election 2012 Debate Season: He is antichristian; Acts of preferentialism for Islam: May 2009 – While Obama does not host any National Day of Prayer event at the White House, he does host White House Iftar dinners in honor of Ramadan. April 2010 – Christian leader Franklin Graham is disinvited from the Pentagon’s National Day of Prayer Event because of complaints from the Muslim community. April 2010 – The Obama administration requires rewriting of government documents and a change in administration vocabulary to remove terms that are deemed offensive to Muslims, including jihad, jihadists, terrorists, radical Islamic, etc. August 2010 – Obama speaks with great praise of Islam and condescendingly of Christianity. August 2010 – Obama went to great lengths to speak out on multiple occasions on behalf of building an Islamic mosque at Ground Zero, while at the same time he was silent about a Christian church being denied permission to rebuild at that location. 2010 – While every White House traditionally issues hundreds of official proclamations and statements on numerous occasions, this White House avoids traditional Biblical holidays and events but regularly recognizes major Muslim holidays, as evidenced by its 2010 statements on Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha. October 2011 – Obama’s Muslim advisers block Middle Eastern Christians’ access to the White House. February 2012 – The Obama administration makes effulgent apologies for Korans being burned by the U. S. military, 51 but when Bibles were burned by the military, numerous reasons were offered why it was the right thing to do. Acts of hostility toward people of Biblical faith: April 2008 – Obama speaks disrespectfully of Christians, saying they “cling to guns or religion” and have an “antipathy to people who aren’t like them.” February 2009 – Obama announces plans to revoke conscience protection for health workers who refuse to participate in medical activities that go against their beliefs, and fully implements the plan in February 2011. April 2009 – When speaking at Georgetown University, Obama orders that a monogram symbolizing Jesus’ name be covered when he is making his speech. May 2009 – Obama declines to host services for the National Prayer Day (a day established by federal law) at the White House. April 2009 – In a deliberate act of disrespect, Obama nominated three pro-abortion ambassadors to the Vatican; of course, the pro-life Vatican rejected all three. October 19, 2010 – Obama begins deliberately omitting the phrase about “the Creator” when quoting the Declaration of Independence – an omission he has made on no less than seven occasions. November 2010 – Obama misquotes the National Motto, saying it is “E pluribus unum” rather than “In God We Trust” as established by federal law. January 2011 – After a federal law was passed to transfer a WWI Memorial in the Mojave Desert to private ownership, the U. S. Supreme Court ruled that the cross in the memorial could continue to stand, but the Obama administration refused to allow the land to be transferred as required by law, and refused to allow the cross to be re-erected as ordered by the Court. February 2011 – Although he filled posts in the State Department, for more than two years Obama did not fill the post of religious freedom ambassador, an official that works against religious persecution across the world; he filled it only after heavy pressure from the public and from Congress. April 2011 – For the first time in American history, Obama urges passage of a non-discrimination law that does not contain hiring protections for religious groups, forcing religious organizations to hire according to federal mandates without regard to the dictates of their own faith, thus eliminating conscience protection in hiring. August 2011 – The Obama administration releases its new health care rules that override religious conscience protections for medical workers in the areas of abortion and contraception

In Response to Election 2012 Debate Season: Here's the schedule for the debates between the presidential and vice presidential candidates. October 3 President Barack Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney Topic : Domestic policy Moderator: Jim Lehrer, host of NewsHour on PBS Location: University of Denver, Denver October 11 Vice President Joe Biden and Rep. Paul Ryan Topic: Domestic and foreign policy Moderator: Martha Raddatz, ABC News chief foreign correspondent) Location: Centre College, Danville, Ky. October 16 President Barack Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney Topic: Domestic and foreign in town meeting format Location: Hofstra University, Hempstead, N.Y. Moderator: Candy Crowley, CNN chief political correspondent October 22 President Barack Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney Topic: Foreign policy Moderator: Bob Schieffer, host of Face the Nation on CBS Location: Lynn University, Boca Raton, Fla. All of the debates are scheduled for 9-10:30 p.m. ET. They are sponsored by the Commission on Presidential Debates , a nonprofit group founded in 1987 by the Democratic and Republican parties. Debates in Senate and House races have begun, but the future of Medicare and Social Security haven't been coming up very often. AARP is calling for much better results in the presidential debates. What questions about Medicare, Social Security and retirement security would YOU like candidates to answer? The issues got a lot of direct attention at the AARP Life@50+ member event in New Orleans. It wasn't a debate, but President Obama and GOP vice presidential candidate Raul Ryan talked about Medicare, Social Security, jobs and gridlock in Washington. A discussion about the event has started in the Politics - Current Events online group. Posted by kimster All political parties should be allowed in the debates. Give 100% of the voters 100% option to vote for who ever they want. Let all the candidates be heard. The Republican/Democrat Merrie-go-round that we go through every 4 years is a joke. Only thing that changes is the names of the players. We need fresh thinking in DC. Gary Johnson, Libertarian Party Candidate, has a more impressive record as 2-Term Governor, than Romney. http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2012/10/11/let-gary-johnson-debate/ |

There would not be a 47% if it wasnt for Obamas BAD policies that put that many people in it, Romney wants to decrease that number! Who is starting class warfare ???
