One of the biggest ripoffs in the country is Insurance companies. After enduring Hurricane Katrina, they refused to pay off homeowners who in turn had to depend on FEMA. After Katrina the large insurance companies moved out after they determined Louisiana was too much of a risk for them. Leaving the once insured uninsured for the next storms. Insurance companies are in business for one reason "MAKE MONEY". And to think Republican lawmakers want to move Social Security and Medicare to the fate of Insurance companies. I am also beginning to question AARP,s real motives when it comes to Social Security, Medicare and Insurance companies. In Response to I didn't expect AARP to Favor Obama!!!: I didn't expect my AARP/insurance company to say they indorse Obama! What's with that? Posted by ljay52 |

It's all about the M O N E Y. As reported recently in the New York Times and Washington Post, a Congressional Oversight committee released the findings of a year-long investigation that revealed how AARP stands to make nearly $1 billion over the next 10 years if ObamaCare remains in effect.
