This election and the next I plan on voting against any incumbent (the jury is still out on the President). The Senators and Congressmen/women have shown they have no regard for the people, continue to collect their huge salaries and get the best medical care in the USA without paying a dime and after two terms (I think) they can collect their full salaries as pension when they depart. I do not care which party they are affiliated I am fed up with their inability to resolve the many issues that face this great country. The reason our founding fathers set up our government the way they did was to deal with issues like this and vote for the good of all. Join me in getting rid of them all! |

The unfortunate aspect of politics is that people tend to support those with name recognition or those with whom we do not have any negative feelings about. The reality is that every politician in Congress at this time period (the past two years) should NOT be reelected. It is time for a change. Sadly, any change would be better than the party of no vs the party of do nothing. What an excellent time to push for TERM LIMITS (two three year terms for reps and one six year term for senator and if you were elected to any congressional position you may not run again...and...no policition could be allowed to work as a lobbyist for ten years after his/her term is up. |
