Apparently the consulate in Benghazi is not safe enough for the FBI to enter, although there are hundreds of reporters milling around it. It's strange that during the days preceeding 9/11 it was deeme

I love how the Republicans and Fox News want to blame President Obama for lack of security at U.S. Embassy's across the globe, when it was the House Republicans, led by Utah Republican Chaffetz, who cut $128 Million in 2010 from President Obama's request for Embassy Security funding.
The Republican leaders said at the time it was a matter of priorities, but now smokescreen time and again blame President Obama. Again when does the truth matter with Fox News and the Republican leaders ?
Now the Republican leadership begins another witch hunt investigation like they tried against Attorney General Holder, to no avail, but any distraction the GOP can start may help bamboozle the voters into thinking Romney has a clue about foreign affairs.

Funds for security were never an issue. The obama State Department did not want to draw attention to the fact that rather than Al Qaeda being defeated it was very much alive. Obama's appeasement and apology policies just did not work.

In battle zones there are casualties among soldiers, civilians, neutrals etc.  I didn't hear the Republicans crying when we lost the thousands we did in Iraq for a lost cause.  Or the casualties we are still taking in Afghanistan for another lost cause.  And they are lost causes.  You can rant all you want about how awful the Moslems are but where is your solution?  Don't have one do you?  Can't kick all the Moslems out the country, a lot of them are professionals that Mitt wants to immigrate here such as doctors.  And you probably know a Moslem doctor or two.

For fiscal 2013, the GOP-controlled House proposed spending $1.934 billion for the State Department’s Worldwide Security Protection program — well below the $2.15 billion requested by the Obama administration.

House Republicans cut the administration’s request for embassy security funding by $128 million in fiscal 2011 and $331 million in fiscal 2012. (Negotiations with the Democrat-controlled Senate restored about $88 million of the administration’s request.)

Last year, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned that Republicans’ proposed cuts to her department would be “detrimental to America’s national security” — a charge Republicans rejected.

Now, Thank the Republicans.
