Don't take my word for it. Take Ambassador John Bolton and several US generals. Also spend some time listening to C-Span where an investigation is taking place. BTW, what are your credentials??? I doubt you have the need to know which would allow you access to the evidence you necessarily need to draw the conclusions you did. The same John Bolton who with the Bush Administration ill advised Bush and probably one of these Generals turned politician West who failed in their war strategy in Iraq and Afghanistan. It's because of these people we are in a war for over ten years. When any nation is in a war as long as we have you can bet someone messed up and Bush had eight years before Obama to do it. As long we are in these wars Bush started his name will keep coming up regardless what you think of it. Were we at war when the WTC was attacked the first time???The islamists have been at war with the West forever.. The only thing they understand is strength. The White House situation room starts receiving emails at about 1 pm that the mission is under hostile attack. The only response was that the Pentagon sends a drone armed with a video camera so that everyone in Washington can see what transpires in real time, as it happens. The White House, State Department,the Pentagon, and the CIA all had live feeds. |

And what you would have done? Send Halliburton in and build them schools, hospitals and prisons while thousands of our boy died protecting Chaney's company like Bush did Iraq? Didn't read one of your post critizing Bush when that disaster was happening. Or when insurgents got into the Green Zone setting off an explosion killing and maiming hundreds of our boys. That was supposed to be the most secure place in the world. Where were your post then? We had assets all over the area and none were called in to help. When it was over Obama went to Las Vegas laughing and joking. And for days kept telling the video lie on national TV. Don't get me wrong, this was a terrible attack, but quoting the Propaganda Minister of the Republican party..... well, let's just say Rush has a way of making everything worse. Doubts surface over e-mail on claim of responsibility for Benghazi attack Emails: The first one, sent at 4:05 p.m. ET, read: "US Diplomatic Mission in Benghazi Under Attack" -- "approximately 20 armed people fired shots; explosions have been heard as well. Ambassador Stevens, who is currently in Benghazi, and four COM (Chief of Mission/embassy) personnel are in the compound safe haven." At 4:54 p.m., less than an hour later, another alert was sent: "the firing... in Benghazi...has stopped...A response team is on site attempting to locate COM (embassy) personnel." The third, sent at 6:07 p.m. ET -- roughly two hours after the initial attack began -- contained the subject line "Ansar al-Sharia Claims Responsibilty for Benghazi Attack," referencing an Islamist group operating in the country. The body of the text continued the message: "on Facebook and Twitter and has called for an attack on Embassy Tripoli." However, an examination of the known Facebook and Twitter accounts of Ansar al-Sharia in Benghazi reveals no such claim of responsibility. Aaron Zelin, a research fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, tracks dozens of jihadist websites and archives much of what they say. He told CNN he was unaware of any such claim having been posted on the official Facebook page or Twitter feed of Ansar al-Sharia in Benghazi.
