Am I the Only One Fed Up With Congress ?

We need to get things done to help fellow Americans. Can AARP back a movement to Impeach Speaker Boehner? I understand it can be done in the House. Republican ? Democrat ?

Am I the Only One Fed Up With Congress ?

We need to get things done to help fellow Americans. Can AARP back a movement to Impeach Speaker Boehner? I understand it can be done in the House. Republican ? Democrat ? Bull_ _ _ _ ! We're Americans and when something is wrong we need to stand up and act. New York and New Jersey need the rest of America to speak for them and get the help they need but this goes farther. We need an end to the "Dictatorship" that exist in the House today and is hurting all AMERICANS ! The time for bickering has ended. |

unfortunately most Americans believe what corporate media tell them and signed up to Republican or Democratic camps. They are not able to think like human beings, just R or D... Impeaching that scumbag Boehmer would change nothing--he would be replaced by another one (the same people choose speaker after all). They show drama like "fiscal cliff bill' to make Americans believe they are IMPORTANT. but most are just lazy, greedy, and vain losers! And they represent us.... |

Believe it or not, but having Eric Cantor as Speaker of the House, would even be worse. In my opinion Cantor is sabotaging Boehner to become the new Speaker and then we are really done for. We can start a petition to AARP or anyone, a lot of seniors agree with what you are saying but many don't have access or know how to use a computer. What I read on these post all of you have a lot of great of ideas. Also using the local newspaper in the editorial section helps. I send in letters to the Editor all of the time from post that Jan or Mandm84, or Astra or Gail1 post and get phone calls from seniors wanting to know more. There is always something we can do. YES YES -take the Bush tax away or --NO----- Raise taxes above $250,000 or raise them above $400,000 .... YES to cutting the Pentagon who doesn't even WANT the extra money or NO.... Yes to cuts to social benefits or NO Instead we had congress bickering like children not even showing up .....If they worked for a corporation they would have been fired. |

I also write and call Congress while living in a Red state like Louisiana you would think doesn't help much but there are people who are fed up with Congress who are Republican, Democrate and Independent. I also didnt mention two people who are very intelligent when it comes to our political situation that also add a lot of sense to this mess we are in and that is wisemagic and intersan. Then a real push to get rid of the "Super PACs and lobby laws," as they have made such a disgrace of our country. Thinking like a date on the "Ides of march" for a mass e-Mail, snail mail, and phone in to get our points across. Another option would be petitions sent by a committee from each state to do this. Any thougths? |

I'm fortunate to have Senators Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand representing my area. I'm in contact with them often and they both have promised to stand strong to preserve Social Security and Medicare. I absolutely agree with you and everyone who reads your post should agree also regardless of political affiliate.
