I am a liberal because I believe society should work together to solve common problems. I believe that wealthy individuals and corporations should be constrained from using their wealth to stack the deck against others from entering their club. I can't speak for other liberals but I have absolutely nothing against a person enjoying and profiting from his work, creativiity and risk; however, they don't get to re-write the rules of society.

Since when has any country in the world been successful being LIBERTARIAN. ? To eliminate social security & other social safety net programs......this has been already tested out in Somalia where famine and diseases overwhelm the population but there is ..no pesky big government bureaucrats, very low taxes, and everyone is free to own all the guns they want. The Islamic Militia insurgency is trying to gain control of the country from the present govt.....we could have the anti-govt Militia doing that here too. . SOMALIA IS LIBERTARIAN. |

Again with Somalia? it is NOT libertarian governed by war-lords by the way alexpinca-liberal: what about wars? Afganistan iraq, bombing in Libya, killing people in Pakistan... (before Jan says anything I want to say that Ron Paul gets more money from active duty military than all the others,incl.
