Everyone is concerned primarily about economic prosperity. There is a much graver issue at hand that the majority of people are missing. The prosperity of this country is directly related to the Abortion or culture of death issues. Think about it. If we are predominantly a Christian nation we would be extremly self-deceived to believe that God would be gleefully prospering us and then turn His head while at the same time we knife, suck, tear and chemically drown our children, our future in the sacred womb of a mother. We would be calling God a liar and an accomplise to murder to think in such gross illogic. Only when we overturn Roe vs Wade and all other culture of death issues including artificial birth control will this country begin to experience true prosperity. As regards to contraception it is a proven fact from information by Pro-life agencies that women who subscribe to artificial birth control have a 40 to 60% increase in breast and cervical cancers; the consequence of rejecting God's plan of well being for women. When couples practice Natural Family Planning, it is 98% effective and the charting method allows EARLY detection of pathologies that can save a woman way before it becomes too late for treatment. So God has a solution for our health and well being when we follow His plan for life. Planned Parenthood is a farce for women's health and is responsible for killing more children than Hitler and other dictators killed of all ages of people in recent past wars. They repeat their duplicitous mantra that echoes out of the past; "madame, do you think we are barbarians?"
Amy Johnson former director of Planned Parenthood is the recent witness of this atrocity, call 800-651-1531 for her book or video.
So do you vote for the candidate that fights for "life" or for the candidate that promises "30 pieces of silver?" (Obama). My pick is Rick Santorum whose long time track record fiercly fights for the well-being of WOMEN and children. If anyone would like my four page article on this; We have no King but Caesar, please email me for a copy in Word program.

no, as a woman I can tell you that Rick Santorum  with his stance on contraceptives (make them illegal?) is far from fighting for the well-being of women! Less contraceptives mean more unwanted pregnancies-and more need to abort them (there are illegal, dangerous ways).
Rick Santorum wants to push us, women, back to XIX century, when wife had to raise many children while husband enjoyed life with mistress.

Sorry, but i think contraceptives are a blessing for women (and families!)

The point is to make the need for abortion scarce (preferably non-existent) and Rick Santorum does the opposite.

Ron Paul is also personally against abortion but he also is more realistic and has common sense. You cannot make laws forbidding something to stop it from occurring. But states and localities may make woman to choose life (incentives)

Here we go again, another so-called christian using God as a pimp to justify their idealogy of controlling women, just to deny them the same freedoms and rights that men are so proud of. An intelligent person. man or women, would focus on women's health as their right, just like contraception, that usually benefits both men snd women. Don't you understand these attacks on women's health just doesn't make sense, as women are half the population?

The Republican Tea-Bag party, with all of its anti-American rhetoric, of hating gays, women's freedom of choice, anti-any religion than that narrow minded religion you spout, flies in the face of the majority of Americans!  What is sad here, you don't seem to stand for anything  Truth is, if there was a God, don't you think he woukd crack down of such idiocy?

Your right wing BS here, aluding to who ever paid you your 30 pieces of silver, while trying to draw our President into your fantasy world, just won't work for any intelligent person, so who are you dancing for?

Thank you Astra for viewing my post. Obviously this is an important issue to you personally. But to be more direct, it is you that is thinking back in the XIX century. Since the introduction of artificial birth control some decades ago, the scientific community has had the opportunity to study its effects on women and have found out that it does more harm than good by far. More cancers for one thing. Women in the past have been greatly misled by so called professional opinions; the deadly consequences of which are being discoverd to this day.Our lives present and future are the result of God's intervention. When man interferes outside the moral directives of God's plan we cause our own demise. It is a moral decision as much as a health decision. Proper education is the key to understanding. In the Bible it says in Hosea; My people die for lack of knowledge! Since I am not the expert in women's issues, I only relay that information, I would appeal to you to go directly to any legitimate Pro-life organization such as Priests for Life.org 888-735-3448 and ask them any question and they will have an answer to explain why artificial birth control, abortion etc. is harmful to women. These organizations are FOR THE WELL BEING OF WOMEN NOT FOR THE CONTROL OF WOMEN. You can always chose how you wish, but know that there are people out there concerned for women's health and are keeping watch to sound the alarm when adverse health issues arise, so be forewarned! Additionaly men should inform themselves as well because obviously they too are no less responsible for the conception of a child. And that child could be your grown up daughter today who is now considering terrible options unless she is educated properly.
