Hi, Everyone! I didn't see a category for the arts on the forums, but this may be a good place to start. A few years ago, I became interested in Pop-up Cards and books. I have been teaching it in my K-8 art classes at school and the kids enjoyed it so much that I decided to put my beginner lessons up in a blog to help others learn. It's all free and you don't have to join the blog to take advantage of the lessons and free patterns. If you are looking for an inexpensive new hobby, I would like to invite you to my blog. I am not a spammer. I just now joined and didn't even know there were community forums, lol. Anyway, please feel free to drop by my blog and see if you are interested in learning how to do Origamic Architecture and Popup Cards. The blog is http://ez3dpopups.blogspot.com and if you are my Facebook Page is https://www.facebook.com/Ez3dPopUps (The facebook page is open to the public - but I think you may need to have a Facebook account to see it. ) I would love to see what kind of hobbies or interests the rest of the AARP community is enjoying. Thank you! This is a pict of a design I am currently working on. ![]() |
