Social Security on Investment Income

Does anyone know if I will be paying the same Social Security deduction on earned income from investments and my IRA withdrawrals, as I did with my salaried/work income?  

I know the tax deduction is difference on work income vs investment income, but how does that relate to
the Social Security tax?

No it is not the same as when you were working.

How much – if any – of your Social Security benefits are taxable depends on your total income and marital status.

Here is the IRS Tip Sheet for 2011 on Are Your Social Security Benefits Taxable?
The income threshold limits might change for Tax Year 2012 but not by much -
