Expedia Bait and Switch

I booked a car this morning through the Expedia AARP travel service with Hertz for $231 for a week in New Mexico. When the confirmation came back it was changed to $594. I called Expedia-AARP and was told that the price must have changed while I was online. I wrote a complaint and the response was basically they do "real time bookings" and thank you for writing.
This appears like an old bait and switch game so be careful and think twice about using this "service" from AARP.
