Message has been texted to my Tracfone multiple times.  Today was the first time I inadvertently accepted the text message. Beware!

I used to get such text messages in 2012.  I think I received three of them.

Each time I looked at the message to learn what it was about, only because my cellphone does not reveal who is sending it or give a subject for it until I choose to open the text message.  I felt at those times that I was being sent a bogus message.

Maybe I was expected to be charged money or minutes for opening it and somehow create revenue for the sender.  In my state, there was a state attorney general campaign to make the public aware of fraudulent text messages that caused the recipients to suffer a loss.  There may be a discussion about the topic on the websites run by attorneys general.
