In Response to Don't Clip Coupons, Click Them: Grocery coupons aren't only in newspapers these days. This Save a Buck column-- Don't Clip Coupons, Click Them --describes how some websites, smarthpone apps and in-store scanners provide coupons or real-time savings. Do you use these technologies to save on groceries? What are the best sites and apps? Share your tips and experiences below! Posted by DanInMd I like the don't clip coupons if the coupons are electronically sent to my store card. I don't own any smart phone so no apps can be sent. and i don't own a printer, so sending these coupons to my store card works for me. THANKS

I don't have a fancy phone. I can call, receive calls & text period. I can't afford to pay for all the extras. 2. I don't like to get computer coupons. I don't trust the sites (I got a virus from one) and opening their sites invites spam. |

In Response to Re: Don't Clip Coupons, Click Them: Not seeing the coupons did someone forget to put it on this site?? Posted by Florine50 This is a forum - there are no coupons here. Only URL's of places that have coupons. You have to click on the URL's and go to the sites that have the coupons.

In Response to Re: Don't Clip Coupons, Click Them: Hello All, I am new here so I apologize if this question is/was asked elsewhere. I am curious to know how others feel about new mobile phone applications that promise to save you additional dollars above the normal club card type of savings. Here is my example; Safeway has a new application called "just for u". It is advertised on our local radio station as saving users an additional 10-20% over club card savings. I was a loyal customer until I became aware of this. I don't own a mobile phone nor do I wish to in the future. I feel disrespected because I have been a loyal customer and now I will get the opportunity to pay more for my groceries simply because I do not have a mobile phone. My next thought was "what percentage of AARP members own/use mobile phones?" I ask because I am curious to know if these new programs strike others as odd or unfair, or, am I truely a dinosaur as my children suggest? Posted by jaynemae I am an AARP member who embraces technology, unlike my husband who abhors it. I switched to a "smartphone' because I wanted to take advantage of the new way of doing things (e.g. clipping and carrying coupons, etc). I love my new phone. I had to learn new things because of it (which keeps my brain nimble!) and I can even use it to talk to people LOL!! However this is a decision each person makes according to his/her own situation or desire. My husband refuses to even own a cell phone. To each his own. |

In my area most of grocery stores dont take coupons and stores have their own norms to follow . Some stores dnt offer computer generated coupons and we cant do any savings to our expenses. So we cant save single penny out of it. We generally miss out our savings. ocala grocery stores |
