Someone is bothering me. What should I do?

At some point, you may find yourself in a disagreement or personality clash with another user. If he or she is disrupting your experience, you can choose to "Ignore" them by using the x-marked button at the bottom of any of his or her posts. This action will then hide all message board posts by that user from your view. That user will still be able to see your posts, unless he or she chooses to ignore you as well.
If someone's behavior becomes threatening or abusive, though, please use the "Report Abuse" button instead so that the AARP Moderation Team can intervene as needed. Read our answer to "I found abusive content" for more details.
