Every American citizen is protected with Medicare during their senior years or when they have certain disability. However, if you want to avail of added services that are not covered by Medicare Basic, there are Medigap plans where you can enroll to help you pay for other out-of-pocket costs. Choose the most suitable plan for you to cater most of your needs.

That is somewhat misleading. Medigap plans cover the 20% that Medicare does not pay for Medicare covered services. If Medicare does not pay for a treatment, neither will a Medigap plan.
