In Response to What is Medigap Insurances?: Medigap Plans are health insurance that offers medical assistance which is not provided by Medicare. It is important to be aware of the policies and regulations in order to choose the plans which are right for your needs. Posted by MedigapSeniors That is somewhat misleading. Medigap plans cover the 20% that Medicare does not pay for Medicare covered services. If Medicare does not pay for a treatment, neither will a Medigap plan.
