I was out of country for 6 months and I had terminated my SSI benefits. I wasn't aware of informing Medicare so I didn't. While I was away, Medicare sent me bill and then for non-payment they suspend

Medicare suspended, NEED HELP ASAP....

I was out of country for 6 months and I had terminated my SSI benefits. I wasn't aware of informing Medicare so I didn't. While I was away, Medicare sent me bill and then for non-payment they suspended my benefits on 9/30. When I returned, I paid balance due check at SSA office on 10/4 and still waiting re-instatement of my benefits and I am told that not sure they will reinstate my Medicare benefits. I am 79, US citizen and need medical attention soon. WHAT CAN I DO NOW? I need medical attention asap, I had a STROKE while I was away and need to follow up with doctors and might need surgery. I live in Edison, NJ. Any help/guidence will be greatly appreciate and THANKS in advance. God Bless.
