The TRUTH is...the medicare savings will add another 8-10 years of solvency to Medicare without touching benefits, while, according to the CBO, Medicare spending is expected to nearly double by 2020. Meanwhile, Medicare Advantage premiums are down and enrollment is up, according to HHS -- hardly indicative of a plan that's suffering due to the ACA. (Affordable Care Act)

The Romney campaign appears to be engaged in a pattern that involves creating and spreading a new and colossal Lie of the Week. Prior whoppers include the "Obama is disenfranchising military voters lie" (debunked) and the "Obama is gutting welfare reform lie" (also debunked).

By now, we all know what happened this week. On Sunday's Meet the Press, right-wing Rich Lowry shouted down Rachel Maddow on Medicare, saying that "Obamacare" cuts $700 billion from the program.

Mitt Romney surrogate John Sununu appeared on CNN the next day and
shouted down Soledad O'Brien with the same crap-on-a-stick. Specifically, he repeated the massive lie that the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (the ACA or "Obamacare") cuts $717    billion from Medicare, implying that benefits were cut.

Where is this  LIE going to stop that started out as $500 billion now we're up to to the $700 billions ?

It turns out that the $717 billion number that Sununu was screeching about on CNN was pulled out of a July 24 CBO memo about the House plan to repeal Obamacare.     Doug Elmendorf explained,     "Spending for Medicare would increase by an estimated $716 billion over that 2013-2022 period."  There's nothing in there about benefit cuts or anything else the Republicans have said. Nothing.

From here, the viral lie infected the discourse like the Ebola virus.

Your first problem is you continue to Refer to CNN. They're S*****g on your head and telling you i'ts raining. The second thing is I'm surprised after allowing CNN to infuse your mind as they have that you still didn't learn that Writing in RED is Not Politically Correct. It has a tendency to be offensive and insensitive. However I do know the Communist Russia was fond of Red Lettering but that's another story. Now to show all the readers you subject your Red Lettered Bully tactics to that you're not completely Brainbathed by CNN. How about you read this article from INVESTORS DAILY. I don't think Debbie Wasserman Schultz would object to a fellow crony reading an investment publication.

ABOVE ALL ....I'm a fan of the National Organization of Women.
At  " EMILY’s List "   and  we spend a lot of time examining what women voters care about – and independent women all over the country reject these extremist policies,   .  Instead – from reproductive rights, to equal pay, to Medicare – Republicans are engaged in a cradle to grave assault on the programs women need to keep themselves and their families healthy. That’s why this November, voters are going to re-elect the President, and send him strong Democratic women in the House and Senate to help promote a progressive agenda.
Hmmm    I don't  mind revealing that in escaping the summer heat in the afternoons....    I also  read Huffington Post daily on line--.....FORBES is a real--favorite .....Care2.... and  Mr Cramer on the stock market channel in the evenings.        I'm not a fan of CNN ....not of late... and you just  presume too much.

The Huffington post? Haha you are a progressive. I sure hope you don't think these folks buy into your Marxist agenda do you? Am i wasting my time debating the biproduct of the indoctrination in the universities? Wow everywhere we go. Listen wanna tip? The crystal ball over in Europe should give you a relatively accurate picture of the out one of your political initiatives. I'm not clear on why all you socialist don't just pack your bags and move to the Ukraine. I'm sure they would be happy to trade places. Have a nice trip!
