In Response to Health Insurance "Portal" Website for Insurance Options: I have resigned from a job in Florida and my insurance expires on December 31, 2012. I cannot locate on the web any website that lists all available options for me and my 16-year old son. His school requires proof of insurance as a condition for his continued admission (a boarding military school). My age dicttes that I obtain something for me. Does anyopne know of any unaffiliated web resource listing insurance options? Posted by OleBamaDude Do you not qualify for COBRA or is that what is expiring. You know a local health insurance agent would be your best source of all the info - then you could compare all your options and decide what is best for your health and wallet. If you don't know one, call your other insurance reps (home, auto, etc.) to see if they can give you a referral - |
