My pharmacist just told me that AARP has no Independent Pharmacies in the Medicare Part D program as a Preferred Pharmacy. Only Chain stores were asked to participate. If you want to keep your local pharmacy, you may want to contact AARP about this, or call Medicare to switch plans before the enrollment ends opn December 7, 2012.
