I'd like to stop eating so much sugar. I've tried before ... unsuccessfully ... but maybe 2012 is my year.

  • Finish my doctorate - I've been given reassigned time where I teach to complete it this coming semester.
  • Spend more time with family.
  • Lose that second 10 pounds.
  • Get my house organized (I'm almost there).
  • Read something besides articles for research. :0)

This year, I want to start eating better and living healthier. The more I read, the more I am realizing I don't eat nearly enough nuts and fish. I mean, everyone knows you need to eat fruits and vegetables, but I wasn't even thinking about eating nuts until I read this article, http://www.naturecastproducts.net/2011/12/29/you-need-this-for-crucial-cell-repair/. I would much rather eat natural things than add any more pills to my diet!

My 2012 resolution is learn to speak Spanish because I plan on visiting Mexico and South America in the near future.  So far so good.  I'm spending at least a half hour a day and my vocabulary is growing and I think my pronounciation is improving.
