Apparently the Republicans have noticed that these things are good and popular with voters. The simple fact is that Obamacare expands coverage to more than 30 million people and eliminates the worst insurance company abuses for those of us with coverage. It stops insurance companies from denying our care and jacking up our rates whenever they please. The GOP's political schizophrenia was evident in the quick backtrack by Speaker John Boehner and Budget Chairman Paul Ryan, who responded to the Politico report by stridently saying they would repeal the entire law, no matter what. Recognizing the political quicksand he was entering, Ryan offered uninsured families a single strand of hope: while the GOP has no intention of crafting actual legislation that could help actual people, which the ACA does every day, the Republicans may deign to share their "vision" with the huddled masses. For two years the Republicans have promised to "replace" Obamacare as part of their non-stop repeal campaign. A fake plan like this is hardly a "replacement." |

IObamacare was put together without the Socialist party (the only ones that voted for it) even reading through it. As pelosi stated "you must pass it first to find out what's in it" The purpose of the legislation was to make health care more affordable and to cover more people. In reality the exact opposite has taken place. Healthcare costs have skyrocketed and more companies are dropping coverage for employees. The two things that would make healthcare more affordable were totally excluded. Why was tort reform not considered? Defensive medicine is responsible for un-necessary tests and procedures. Why aren't insurance companies allowed to compete on a national basis? I belong to a Medicare Advantage HMO. At enrollment time providers fall of each other for the business. Republicans' political back-flips are staggering and make Mitt Romney, the presumptive GOP presidential nominee, look consistent by comparison. While telling their diehards they're repealing Obamacare in full, they're misleading the public and telling them they can keep the provisions that protect them from insurance company abuses. Many of the Obamacare provisions the Republicans say they'd like to keep are ones that are already in effect. If the court were to fulfill the desperate hopes of Republicans in Congress and overturn Obamacare, the Republicans would then try to immediatelly reinstitute much of what the court will have overturned. This bill is socialism at it's best and it must be repealed. Remember, the politicians are NOT covered by this Government plan only the masses they intend to rule. Community organizers such as "Acorn" assisting in running your healthcare. Really? Has Obamacare visited your house recently? It will be soon. It will assess your health status to condition you to what is to be expected from you and it. If you are 65 or older and need serious care you will be put on a waiting list. The younger people come first, you last. It pretends to care, sending a quasi insurance company representative, who is really a government social worker ready to lock you into a healthcare system that you cannot escape from. This move will eliminate your freedom of choice, and all of your liberties; turning you into chattle of the government, dispensing with your 10th Amendment(sovereignty of persons) as they see fit. This is our moment of truth of who we are; if we accept this tyranny we must accept its consequences Brookings Institution scholar Isabel Sawhillsaid the gradually shifting the balance of federal spending from seniors to children to enable them to support both themselves and their elders in the future. WHAT !! This is what the Progressive liberals have brought to our country. Americans should not have to choose between the elderly or children. We’re "broke" and can’t help our own Seniors, Veterans, Orphans,andHomeless. In the last months we have provided aid to Haiti, Chile , Egypt,Turkey . Our retired seniors living on a ‘fixed income’ receive no aid nor do They call Social Security and Medicare an entitlement even though most |
