I need more information about  ECT; electric convulsive shock therapy. for bipolar, anxiety and chronic pain.  I understand this treatment  mostly is used to address  the depression part of  bipolar.  But, all of these systems seem to work congruently. (Bipolar, anxiety and chronic pain due to back/surgeries and arthritis).  I would not be discussing isues if pharmaceutical medication or acupunture/radioltherapy/attempted steroid injections into the facet joints of my spine had been successful.   I do meditate which seems helpful in getting me to sleep.  Due to narcotics and anxiety medication I now have sleep apnea which I am having difficulty adjusting too.  Please advise on any or all of the above.  Thank you.
