I've been told that I have meniscus tears and cartillage damage in both knees. I've had injections in both knees that help for a while and the doctor has said one knee needs replacing but he says I'm too young now( 59 ). I'm retiring in 3 years at 62. Should I get a second opionion or have knee surgery now or wait until I retire. Need a new thought process in this matter

Most conditions with these symptons is usually inflammation. In fact it is a major cause of a lot of offshoot diseases. Just like stress it underlies the physical symptons presented to the Doc.
