In Response to arthritis and bad knees: I've been told that I have meniscus tears and cartillage damage in both knees. I've had injections in both knees that help for a while and the doctor has said one knee needs replacing but he says I'm too young now( 59 ). I'm retiring in 3 years at 62. Should I get a second opionion or have knee surgery now or wait until I retire. Need a new thought process in this matter Posted by mcb409 I have hip replacement at the age of 57.
