"MHRF, Inc." - We are a 501(c)3 tax deductible nonprofit organization whose mission is to assist Georgia residents who are unable to pay and/or delinquent on their mortgage payment due to unforeseen circumstances such as primary caregiver is deceased or seriously ill, slight decrease in household income, disability retirement, or elderly (Foreclosure Prevention Financial Assistance). Marable Home Retention Foundation, Inc.’s vision is to reduce preventable foreclosures and help Georgia residents keep their homes and remain self-sufficient. Our events and activities range in a wide variety of activities such as Free Budgeting Back to the Basics Workshops, and Free Lunch and Learn Events within the counties we serve (Fulton, DeKalb, Gwinnett, and Cobb); Advertising Opportunities; Volunteer Community Outreach Opportunities. INTERN TRANSLATOR JOB DESCRIPTION Intern Translator primary goal is to translate at MHRF, Inc. events from English to Spanish. Required: must be fluent in speaking and writing English and Spanish. (Other languages including American Sign Language are a plus, but not required). Key words and/or phrases translator(s) will commonly use, but are not limited to are mortgage assistance, foreclosure prevention, early intervention, finances, budget analysis, self-sufficient. Translator(s) will verbally show MHRF, Inc. in a positive light that we are out in the community serving those in need by translating the content of our message(s) at the event(s) & activities whenever/wherever needed. The Intern Translator(s) are part of our marketing strategy which helps us develop and verbally execute our message professionally and carefully which therefore is to optimistically enhance awareness of and gain measurable support for MHRF, Inc.’s program and our services in the targeted communities. We will notify Intern Translator(s) as soon as possible of our schedule of events and activities so that he/she/they can make arrangements to be there at the event to work.
