News Release for www.puzzlepick.com – Three different kinds of word puzzle for all kinds of people
www.puzzlepick.com is a new, free access site for word puzzle enthusiasts – and there are lots of them out there. There is a daily crossword, a weekly cryptic crossword and a twice weekly “SoHuNu?TM”, which is a ten-question trivia quiz answered on a small crossword grid.
Two of the puzzles on the site are downloadable in .pdf files, along with solutions; and two of the puzzles are interactive, meaning that you can work at them without help; or, if you’re running out of time, you can use the handy “cheat button” provided.
There are special features which accompany each puzzle. CoffeeCrypt, the weekly cryptic crossword, includes a downloadable instruction sheet for solving cryptic crosswords. SoHuNu? TM is a java based interactive puzzle consisting of ten questions on a single theme (e.g. blondes, Rockabilly, famous physicians, etc.) When completed, a “prize” is offered in the form of an online video.
The MorningMaze, the familiar American crossword, offers a scramble feature which asks for a ten letter word to be assembled out of ten of the numbered spaces on the grid once they’re correctly filled in. In addition, MorningMaze offers a larger 21 x 21 American crossword for weekend activity…or lack of it…
PuzzlePick.com has been designed to stimulate memory in seniors, curiosity in juniors and patience in almost, but not quite everyone. Make a visit to www.puzzlepick.com and decide for yourself.
