Posted by moesummer You are right...my complaint is that it is soooo obviously computer biased...plus the fact that this particular site is basically for senior citizens. Most of the games on this site my younger grandkids like to play ...it is challenging to them, but for older people the games are not really a challenge...they are something to pass the time. So when they do present a game that makes us use our brain, then I think it should be "computer fair" and it's not. If the programmers could at least give us game players different levels of difficulty (actually for ALL the games would be nice!) that would present a challenge to us to use our brains...and isn't this website supposed to be a place to continue to use and improve our mental capabilities??? I don't blame the programmers...this is a free playing site, so they will not or cannot go overboard designing a game that would be costly. I love to challenge my own "head"..it keeps me mentaly awake and I think most seniors feel the same nowdays. But this is my opinion only and I really am not trying to insult AARP website or their employees. I have played Backgammon on other sites and most of them are open games. I can tell almost instantly if I'm playing with a pro or a beginner, and that does challenge you, but you don't necessarily learn. Playing against a computer will teach you IF the game is set up right. I love Backgammon and just wish this was "an equal oppurtunity" game. If anyone likes "brain improving" games, go to www.coolmath-games.com and www.hoodamath.com. They are great. |

Thanks Joanlas, I love brain training and puzzle games and they say that playing them can improve your brains health and age according to the Alzheimer’s Society. I also like math games and math related puzzles and found some fun games on here http://www.revoltgames.com/cool-math-games/ |
