pool-The game cheats you

Why do you loose the game when you scratch on the break? By scratching on the break I mean that the cue ball goes in pocket on the break. Plus you loose the game when you dont hit the 8 ball and/or the 8 ball dont hit the bumber/rails when it is your last ball. I have played pool for years and never heard of them rules. They need to look into that glitch |
