It seems to me that the problem starts when the sponsored version of Sodoku (green version) switches back to the regular (unsponsored version) and when the reverse happens. For some reason the browser picks up only the green grid with no numbers but the clock is running. I find that if I trash all "History) in my browser (I use Firefox) then I can get rid of this problem. This means trashing the following: Browsing & Download history, Form & Search History, Cookies, Active Logins, and Site Preferences. Then I quit the browser and restart my computer. I'm not sure that restarting the computer is necessary. This may take some minutes to do if you haven't trashed "History" recently. You will hear a lot of "ticking sounds" indicating the computer is at work. When I come back to the AARP site I will have to log in again. Usually I am good for playing Soduku until the next switch occurs. However, occassionally I find that I have to repeat the proceedure again in a few days. I have no idea what is happening but this has solved the problem for me for the past year.
