A big improvement!! This morning I was able to go to my profile and click on the bowling game (Disco Bowling) and it carried me straight to the game. There was no having to have the game load, b

This is what it says under the Help link in the games area about member points:

<<Frequently Asked Questions

What are Member Points?

Member Points are our rewards to you for doing well when playing our games! When you get a good score in our games, we reward you with Member Points. As you earn more Member Points you’ll climb the leaderboard!

How can I see all the Member Points I’ve won?

You can see the Member Points you've won on your profile.>>

If you notice on the Leaderboard there are two catagories of points: Score Leaders and MP Leaders (MP is for Member Points) and if you make the Leaderboard (top 10 players) they will show there. If you don't make the Leaderboard they are suppose to show on your profile page. However, there is a lot of stuff on my profile page but Member Points does not seem to be one of them. I assume its something that will eventually be added or maybe I'm overlooking them.

This is really bizarre. The Help page just changed while I was typing this. I no longer see any reference to Member points under the Games/Puzzles FAQS. How strange. Must mean its going to be a while before we can see them on our member page...if ever.

In Response to Re: Playing games and Saving scores.:
AARP always says I'm logged in, with a "Hi, [name]" at the top of the page.  But while I'm still logged into AARP, I'm no longer logged into the AARP games.  More than a few times, I've been logged into the games, and several games later, I'll suddenly be logged out while I'm still playing!!!  Like Sparkel18, I've gotten in the habit of logging out, just so I can log in again and play games.  But it certainly sounds like a design flaw to me.

I can't find my earned game points.  "Help" says to go to your profile, but I don't see it there.  Can anyone help?

I see that we are given "member points" after each game played, however, no explanation anywhere on the website  what these are for....?   I have emailed AARP several times, with no response...

How bogus is that?  Points to move us up on Leaderboard?  Just a blind incentive to get us to play games and be subjected to the Ads....if you ask me.  I think most players are thinking they can get points that are actually worth something...likes prizes as a reward....oh well....

Same here.  "Help" does say to find your points on your profile.  They are not there!!!  Can anyone help us find them?

i think that's it in a nutshell, ellynjayne!  I consider the points to be nothing more than a record of how much time I'm wasting playing games, when I should be doing something productive.

"i think that's it in a nutshell, ellynjayne!  I consider the points to be nothing more than a record of how much time I'm wasting playing games, when I should be doing something productive. "

I totally agree. You get the points every time you play a game so the people playing the most games get the most member point. The new Leaderboard only shows the top 10 players with their scores. The old Leaderboard would show your score at the end of the top 20 players so that you could see how you ranked. Your total Member points are supposed to show on your personal page but don't as far as I can tell. Sometime in the next couple of days the new Profile will be the only profile on your page and the old one will disappear. Maybe at this "point" the Member points will appear there.

Another gripe I have with the new Leaderboard is that it defaults to the Memberpoints which is meaningless to all but the top ten people who have played the most games and aquired the most points. The rest of us could care less. If we want to see the Game Points we have to change to this option. Why not make the Game Points the default? It would make more sense. I think I dislike the new Leaderboard the most of all the things in the new Game Page design. After I play a game I have to figure out how to get back to the Leaderboard to see how my score ranks (or doesn't). It used to be you could clink a link at the bottom of the page and it would take you there. This link doesn't work currently.
