In Response to Play 'Rainbow Illusion' and you may win a $20 gift card: Welcome to Rainbow Illusion, the fifth and final challenge question of the brain sweeps companion contest! For any first-timers out there here's a reminder of how this works : Each week I post a brain teaser challenge question in this forum and you provide an answer in a reply post. We'll collect responses all week up until midnight Thursday, and on Friday the answer will be revealed and a $20 gift card will be awarded at random. A person is eligible to win whether they answer correctly or not. Let's begin... What happens when you stare at this oddly colored arc? Instructions: 1. Stare at the black dot for 20 seconds. 2. Next, look up at the sky or a light-colored wall. Tip: Click on the image to inlarge. credit: Posit Science If you missed the challenge questions we've already completed, feel free to play on your own: week 1: Missing Letters week 2: In Depth week 3: Hermann Grid week 4: Adelson's Illusion Posted by LynneG |
