I'm no expert, but the object is to remove all tiles by pairing them. click on one, then on a same face tile and they'll both go. Try to remove the tiles that are on top first then the tiles that are holding the others captive.

Is there info anywhere about how this game scores?  I've gotten higher scores by not finishing than when I do finish.  Quite confusing as to why.  Even my faster games will sometimes score less than a slow one.  Thanks!

It would be so helpful to us "seniors" if there was a game page that explained this kind of thing  :-(  I can't even find a way to ask aarp about that.  Is there a link to an email address for customer (player) service?

This game is based on keeping a steady even rate of speed and making matches. The more matches you make in a row the more bonus points you get. If you keep making matches without allowing the rate of speed to decrease the score begins to double. If you drop in your rate of making matches or make a mismatch the score is not going to be as high as if the matches continue at an  even rate. It is quite possible to finish all three levels and get a lower score than not finishing. You can observe this by just playing the first round. My score can vary from 6,000 to 17,000 (or maybe 20,000) . If I finish without making a single mismatch and have not allowed my rate of speed to drop I get the higher scores.

These games were not developed by AARP and I doubt that anyone but the developers and the good players really know much about how they operate. Asking questions here would likely be your best way to get answers. I have been playing MJD for more than 2 years and I am finally making some progress. I play the first round over and over until I get a high score. The first round is the simpliest and has the least number of tiles. With practice you can improve both your speed and ability to see matches.

Sometimes the 'highest scorer' displays - something totaling in the millions... Does anyone believe this score? My highest score is only something in the 40k region.

No, I don't believe 40,000,000 either.

I was playing before on a Dell, and the mouse button on the keyboard was very fluid - hardly a touch to make it click...  then I got a new computer, HP, and the buttons have to be pushed way down, and have more resistance, and playing has been slower, and my scores much lower. It's good, in a way, because I needed to break my addiction!
