In Response to Re: Mah-Jongg Stategy??: Okay, you posted that message over a week ago and probably if you've kept playing, I bet you're getting higher scores now. I think the key to that mah-jonng game is the first screen, and you have to try to think one or two steps ahead of what you're clicking on, and you have to complete that first screen in one long sweep, so after the last two squares are matched, the screen briefly reads "SPEED MATCH - BONUS 32" - meaning you have matched all 32 sets of pairs one after the other, with no lagging between. When I play that first screen, if I don't get through all 32 matches like that, like if I hesitate or slow down after, say, "SPEED MATCH - BONUS 8" or whatever, and I stop getting the bonuses, I quit the game and start over. The high scores people get are based on those multiple matches, and also the time you're saving by plowing through that first screen as efficiently as possible. So generally, I am finishing the first screen with somewhere between 15,000 and 17,000 points. Then, on the second screen, I try to do the same for as long as I can, but I can't do it for the whole screen. Usually I get hung up after about fifteen or twenty quick matches, and then I'm just trying to finish. But I can usually do so with enough time to finish the third screen, though it's often cutting it close. Posted by TheOldGrayMule |

In Response to Mah-Jongg Stategy??: I really enjoy playing Mah-Jongg but am wondering if there is an actual strategy to this game. I must be brain dead or blind, can't seem to score the high points that other players do! Thanks:o) Posted by cherie2770 don't think there is any kind of strategy.. I just played Mah-Jong and got a score of 19,631. You just have to take your time. Good Luck |

I play with 3 other people, using the National Mah Jongg League Card for 2011, to play hands on the card with tiles, on a card table. The Mah-Jongg you speak of is a match game. Thanks. |
