Troubles with Safari Web Browsers. Troubles connecting with servers. Troubles with slow response times, lost game scores, and games not operating in accordance with the game rules. Troubles with absolutely no customer service. Troubles with the lack of response to the multitude of complaints that this web site receives. Could AARP figure out anything else to make this web site a bigger piece of dung than it already is. YES, THEY CAN. THEY NOW HAVE ADDED ADVERTISING THAT OVERRIDES YOUR POP-UP BLOCKER AND POPS UP TWO-THREE TIMES AS YOU GEAR UP TO PLAY A GAME.EVERY TIME YOU PLAY A GAME!!! SOMETHING ABOUT WINNING A STUPID SPA VACATION!!! ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCING THIS!!!!! |

Yes is this going to be the norm? The pop up has finally beaten me down. I will move on and find something better, instead of hoping AARP changes their ways. It just isn't going to happen. The same Spa ad only popped up four times between my clicking on the "Community" pulldown menu and actually getting to this thread. As Judge Judy would say, "RIDICULOUS!!!"

Yeah, I'm giving up. I haven't had a chance to play all week, and I finally get a few minutes and that "win a spa vacation" is making the games all but unplayable. I thought maybe if I sat through it a time or two that it would stop popping up, but no such luck. And speaking of clicking on the "Community" forum drop-down, I had fun just finding that, since it's moved again. I guess the universe is telling me not to play these silly games to begin with. |

I voiced a complain in the Community Help group and was advised to install Adblock Plus. This is for the Firefox browser. I did. It was very easy to do and it worked. No more pop-up ads. No more ads of any kind. I've been using it for several hours and have encounter no other problems. Now that they've fixed the problem with the incessant pop-ups, it would be nice if they learned not to put in a change without checking it out first, and if it checks out on their end, they still shouldn't install the change and disappear for the weekend! At the first sign of a problem, they should be ready to back the change out, instead of waiting a few days. |
