In Response to Game Hints: How does one find hints to the scoring on some games? I see really high scores and can't get even close. I play Roadtrip Mahjongg, Betty White match, Treasure Hunt. I thought I had figured out how to get the awards on Roadtrip, but it doesn't happen every time. I have searched this forum, but it is too hard to find answers. Posted by phs5775 PHS, I am no expert, but I think I can help you with Roadtrip (my favorite game by far). First, each tile has a value. You can determine the value by letting your cursor hover over a tile. I believe you will score higher if you can get rid of the higher scoring tiles first - as an example, a tire gives you more points than a car, so try to get rid of the tires before you get rid of the cars. Second, one of three things will happen in a game - (1) You will run out of time (5 minutes). When this happens, you get no rewards. You only get points for those tiles you have removed. - OR - (2) You will remove all the tiles from the board before the 5 minutes expire. When this happens, you get your reward points plus you get extra points for the unused time (thus, it helps to finish as quickly as possible). - OR - (3) You will exhaust all moves, but there are still tiles left on the board. When this happens, you get the reward points, but you do not receive credit for unused time. Someone with more insight might correct something I have written, because, as I stated - I am no expert. My observations might not be accurate. But, this is how the game seems to play out from what I have seen. Good luck with Roadtrip! |
