I was going to post the same message as the others...Please get a version that follows the rules.  This is just annoying.  I have the opponent completely blocked and with a few pair of large doubles my game is blown.  NOT FAIR!

Here's another site with a fantastic Backgammon game:

The board is a bit small, but you can choose your difficulty level, play against a human or the computer, and it plays by the rules!

There are a bunch more games that look good, too.  I tried "Arithmetiles" last night and was soon addicted.  Thanks to "libra1939" for posting this link.

I have played Backgammon for years.  I agree with you - the 'new' version is crazy!  It makes no sense!'
Why can't the Games staff correct this?  I can't play Backgammon the way they have it now.

Dear ash81052,

The game provider is actively looking at the Backgammon game specifically since we have received so much feedback about it.

We hope to have any issues resolved in the near future and trust this game will be enjoyable for all to play.

I look forward to seeing this fixed and being able to play Backgammon again.  In the meantime, why not just restore the previous version, which was fine?
