I go to Games, pick a game press play now,no response. I tried closing it out and opening again. Anyone else experiencing this? Could it have anything to do with adding popblocker?

For a brief period about 30 minutes ago I had this problem and then it righted itself. I guess there was some glitch in the AARP system. It seemed to be hung up on one of the links that usually flash by at the botttom. I hope you are back playing now.

The pop-ups are gone again since it is Monday 12am. I am beginning to think that the pop-ups are a week-end thing.

For some reason, after I log-on to AARP, I can't access the games. I've had this problem with Chrome and Yahoo. A message comes up with "too many re-directs" or something like that or that there are problems accessing this page. I found the solution by logging-out, then going to the game forum. It's just strange that I can't access the games with my name as I did before. I don't know who's to blame.

Intersan,
Are you saying you cannot access any of the games or just the ones that require you to log in as a member? Were you not able to access the games message board forum without logging out? Several people were having trouble recently with access to the "members only" games even though they were members and logged in. These post were erased  from this board due to some technical problems with the site. This information came from the "Community Help" website. I would suggest that if you continue to have this problem that you go there and post what is happening.

The "too many redirects" and "problems with server" and other messages as such come up with Apple's Safari as a browser. Based on your post, I guess the same messages are coming up for people using Chrome and Yahoo. I suggest using Firefox only for this site. I have had no problems using Firefox (switched about three weeks ago).. I have an iMac. The only problem I have had since switching to Firefox were the pop-ups which AARP seems to have corrected. Let's knock on wood about that statement. Anyway, try Firefox.

I also use Firefox as my browser and usually have few problems. Yesterday in the late afternoon (Central time) I began having trouble with the games not wanting to reload. Or rather they were taking about 5 minutes to reload. I would get a blank page with the link p.rfihub.com showing at the bottom. Also the area that had said "Hi, Frances" had switched to "Register | Login". I eventually gave up and went to other areas of the AARP site where everthing seemed to be running as usual. Did anyone else experience this problem? I did get an email this morning from a gaming friend who said she was not able to access the gaming area at all yesterday afternoon about this time.

In Response to Re: NO ACCESS TO GAMES:

Yes, it's a problem ever since I got a new computer and the computer guy downloaded Chrome. I did have Firefox, but noticed that when they changed their game format, games like Treasure Hunt were much slower. Perhaps it's because of the "bursts" that occur which must slow things down. I just log-out to play now.
