Project Runway Contestant made Repeated Ageist Remarks

That Chrisopher Palu made several rude comments about his older partner tonight, something that would not be tolerated had he said instead, Oh, well, she is slow because she is black/gay/fat whatever. He insulted his middle aged partner at least 3 times before he switched up his insults to being about her work instead of about her age and how she was older etc. We need to let LIfetime network know that this kind of discriminatory talk is not appropriate any more than the NAACP would allow him to insult a fellow designer for her race. Stick up for our own folks. We can't let young people go on mocking us on tv just because we are older, which to them can mean anything from 30-80, but in this case the woman is just a middle aged designer from NY who gave up a lot to compete and has a lot of experience and he is just an early 20's kid mocking her for her age. Stand up to that network and show with me!! We can't take this on network tv!! |

She behvaved badly by skulking away at night not a good reputaiton for an older contestant. But that situation has been surpassed by Ven's relentless insults to a full size woman to the pont of making her cry. Then his sister comes on family week adn she is a full size woman (and exactly how tiny is Ven). Glad he is gone. Christopher is just young andn ot seasoned in the world. |
