Intelligent programs (ones that make you think), i.e. NCIS, Fringe, etc, vs those so-called reality shows. REAL housewifes (I don't think so) and those awful Kardashians.  Do we really need to show young people that bad-behavior is the norm?

We watch SyFy, but there are fewer and few actual SciFi shows. Eureka is gone.  It seems like any show that requires you have cognitive reasoning skills gets cancelled and replaced by these other shows, that seem to appeal to the majority.

Do you feel like you are a minority in the TV viewing audience? If you find Intelligent and thought provoking shows, post them here so we can find them..time and night please!

One way to apply the concept of being upfront is to have a plan on what to do when you ask her out. Rather than asking her what she likes to do, come up with a plan and pitch it to her. Be specific and enthusiastic about it.
