In Response to Re: Dancing With The Stars Patronizing Older Contestant Remark: Ricki, I couldn't agree more. Nancy is so mean-spirited with her TV commentaries that I have no sympathy for her now and she signed up for Dancing With the Stars knowing they will pick apart every little thing they do on the dance floor. JR probably will win, but I really don't care at this stage of the game who wins. All my favorites-to-watch are gone. Posted by JeanR45 I have done some ball-room dancing for decades as an amateur so I enjoy watching the show. But certainly don't call it a "competition"....when it's more like a popularity contest. For example, the first eliminations were sad when Nancy Grace should have gone earlier as I didn't especially enjoy watching her perform. DId you notice on her own show that she re-played her dance numbers.... |

Posted by JANMB Wendy Williams used to do that on her show and I'm sure that any of the other stars did the same if they had a regular program where they could do that. Personally, I feel that they should either do away with audience voting or have it so that it doesn't carry so much weight on the final results. |
