Martina looked like some reincarnated Martina on FWTS, very femiine and movie-star pretty. She took everyone's breath away.. Seeing her was somewhat unsettling to me because her glamorous self and sexy clothes seemed inconsistent with her choices in life. It was a stunning makeover! I've followed her career and admired her all the way. So sharp she is, with humility and humor; she is likable. She has my vote on DWTSs. To me, her taking this challenge bespeaks a kind of bravery. Somehow she seems about as far away from her world as she could possibly be. My hat remains off to Marina! |

Sorry, I don't think she is a "winner" in this DWTS season. She does not give me a role model person that I expect even though she wore a stunning hair style and a dress on the first night. She does not have the all around movement of a good dancer. I am not sure why AARP selected her an ambassador for physical fittness. There are others out there on the dance floor who demonstrate a fit person as well. |

re: DWTS........I was under the impression that Gladys Knight was the oldest in the competition this season, but Martina looked much older than Gladys! For someone who spent her whole life being physical, she sure looked "stiff" on that dance floor, and scared. Tony would never allow her to fall, so what was she scared of? I'm sure it wasn't the audience because people were always watching the tennis matches, on court and on TV. I'm sorry she's off so soon, but I think she should have relaxed a little more. Maybe AARP should have rallied more for her votes!! |
